Thread: WILD attempt #2..WTF?

This is very weird and a bit embarrassing..

I tried my second attempt at WILD today, and it was going pretty well. I found a position that was fairly comfortable and I figured out that having some mellow music playing helps a LOT.

SP was not very uncomfortable this time, I felt my body getting heavier and eventually the only thing that I could feel was my right eye. Gradually words began to form in front of my eye, it looked like I was looking at a book. I could only see a few words or one picture at a time, and I had to squint a little. I scanned the book quietly, it was fairly boring material. I tried to stay relaxed and wait for a dream to start..

Then I had an orgasm. I mean, like out of NOWHERE. I kind of instinctively crossed my legs, which of course knocked me out of the whole thing completely and woke me up.

What the hell was that?!

Well, I do know that REM induces increased blood flow to the reproductive organs (regardless of dream content), but your case seems somewhat odd. Anyway, I assume that it wasn't just a dream? Were the words from the book familiar? Something you read that day?

No, the words weren't familiar at all..I guess the closest thing that I can compare it to is patent application. Diagrams and descriptions of how the thing goes together and works. I couldn't really figure out what the hell it was talking about..I may have been able to if I had paid closer attention,but I've read that it's best not to focus too much on the images so I just sort of scanned it without trying to interpret.

I'm leaning towards the blood flow theory too, either that or maybe some area of my brain was triggered for some random reason..?

It's not really a theory, it's a known effect of REM-related brain activity. Although, when it comes to sleep and the brain, nothing seems to be certain.
