      Pain

Alright, so last night, I attempted to WILD. I fell asleep the first try, but the second time I woke up, I stayed awake a little bit longer.

So I was staying still, the usual, and then all of a sudden I felt pain. All over my body. I don't remember feeling the signs of SP, but I could be one of the dreamers that don't feel it.

So this pain I felt, what was it?

It is likely that the pain was not real and it was a hallucination. I have actually felt myself get kicked in the ribs during SP, but all I did was remind myself that it wasn't real and it went away instantly.

It also could have been an awkward sleeping position that caused pressure on a nerve. That can send a crisp pain throughout your body.

See if the problem persists and try to imagine it as a hallucination. If it doesn't stop, attempt to change positions and see where that gets you. Good Luck!

Thank you, I am almost sure it was a hallucination. I lay in the same position every time I try to WILD and it has never happened.

It's good to remember that hallucinations are not just visual or auditory--they can come in many forms. It is not too uncommon to experience pain in SP, and even I still have it every once in a while. It's not pleasant. After having a little practice WILDing, if SP is painful you'll be able to jump into the dream faster--then the SP and pain will be gone.

I knew that it wouldn't always be visual and auditory. I just never knew that kind of pain before. I always get screwed up by these stupid things!

Aww yeah, it can be quite shocking. I have had pain in lucid dreams before as well, like being shot in the back randomly. Definitely not fun.

Fortunately I can just heal myself if it's lucid.
