      WILDing in the bath

Just a quick thread to make before I go to sleep

If you can keep your head rested on something, it seems like this would be a good idea as I always seem super relaxed and always have to stop myself falling asleep in the bath and it's super comfortable too!

Anybody know a reason why this wouldn't work? I'll come back to this tomorrow

Drowning is a good reason it wouldn't work but i guess give it a go if you can rest your head right.

Because even if your head was resting on something, your body would probably slip off into the water and drown, and also, you wouldnt enter SP cause your body would know you were in the bath since it would interpret the water around you, your body moving. plus it would be hellava lota scary to have HH in the bathroom especially if you know and have read enough about, the, the, i cant even say it, the TAILS DOLL! Dun dun duuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
If you WILD, you can tell itll be a WILD night.

This is a great idea. This is similar to a sensory deprivation tank, which I plan on building next year some time.

And guys, you cannot drown from simply falling asleep in the bathtub. If water enters your nose, you would cough and sputter waking up.

It's a danger maybe if you had drugs in your system or something.

yeah you would wake up if your head was submerged but it still has its dangers especialy if your head is not rested exactly right

I've been thinking about the possible benefits of an SD tank recently too. Will like to hear how you get on.

I don't think drowning is a risk either...
What would bother me most is the water getting cold and perhaps even me getting a cold...

Yeah, it may get a bit cold but not that cold providing it was warm to start with. Drowning I don't think is a risk because I've fallen asleep plenty of times without meaning to (head was in the wrong position) and slowly slid down for a load of water to go up my nose. You wake up instantly. Still not a thing to try when you're ill or something though.

What if we slipped into water while being in SP? Usually it takes me a while to get out of that state. Wouldn't that be dangerous?

One thing is for sure, if i had any of my scary HH while in the bath i would probably be drowned by a demon or something else, lol.

All I'm gonna say is, I would definitely not do it. Doesn't seem like a good idea. I wouldn't want to slide down the bath and submerge into water while I was asleep. But, best of luck to you if you do try.

I think most probably all you'd need to do is put some kind of box down the "feet end" of the bath. This will bend your legs and if you slump down your back side wouldn't be able to slide any further. I suppose you may also like to use one of those inflatable travel pillows that wraps round your neck.

I would not recommend sleeping in the bathtub, ever. It only takes a few inches of water for you to drown if you slip into the wrong position during your sleep. And since we all usually toss and turn a little when we sleep, you would be in danger of moving under the water.

Also, if you drown in warm or hot water, it will be almost impossible for you to be revived, unlike with cold water.

So yeah, please don't sleep in the bathtub.

On the other hand, I found this: http://www.wlwt.com/news/19011854/detail.html

      Still, try to be careful.

Maybe get in touch with the people who make or offer floatation tank services. I'm sure I've heard about people falling asleep in them, and the manufacturers should be pretty expert on the subject.

Well, it seems that the best thing for me to do is either get something specifically made for it or just use a bed like normal people

hahaha definitely not a good idea to try sleeping in the bath tub. Although I do agree, it can be pretty tempting because its so damn comfortable.
