      WILD without sleep first?

Back when I used to try to WILD often, I would always try to have a wake induced lucid dream without sleeping first. I never had a complete lucid dream, but a couple times I actually got to the point where I could see 3D "real looking" objects for a split second.

So my question is, is it actually possible to have a wake induced lucid dream without sleep first? Or do the REM cycles prevent this?

It is possible to have a WILD before sleep, but it is pretty difficult. I have only done it a couple of times and both times I didn't have much sleep the night before. I was pretty exhausted and it still took me closer to an hour and a half to achieve my WILD. The success rate is so much higher with a WBTB or a nap, that I haven't really attempted it that often though. Those 3D real looking objects you saw were most likely HI. That means you were, indeed, on the right track. I would strongly suggest practicing WILD during a WBTB or a nap, but it is definately possible to WILD before sleep. Good Luck to you!

      To me is not dificult...

I'm with a dry spell because of weed...But now i'm having a time without mary jane, and with REM rebound...

Last night i was going to sleep, than BAM!
Sleep Paralysis hit me so hard that i was looking my TV with my closed eyes [yeah that was an hallucination] and moving my closed eyes was making metallic voice noises...

      i got a little scared because i can't lucid dream like 1 month...And i woke up...

But today i'm sure that i'll have a lucid dream in the first sleep.
