Going into a WILD with a topic?

okay, this is kind of a poll...
do you start your wild with a goal in mind?
or let the dream start you out somewhere?
      and take it from there?
how goal-directed are you at the beginning of your WILD
      thanks,
      bg~~~

Goals are hard things to have during WILD for me, my brain will want to stay in an alert state if it thinks I'm waiting for something to happen. Usually my WILD like experiences start with me kind of letting my mind drift for a few moments, then I'd start trying to imagine a floor beneath me, and after awhile it solidifies and I just stand up in the dream.

I think most people tend to think that they should be ultra-focused during a wild, some people won't believe they even had a wild because the state of mind you go through well wilding is so drastic, one moment your feeling entirely awake, and the next second you feel spaced out, hard to explain that second feeling.

My WILDs always start one of two ways with about 50-50 split.

I had one of my most productive nights ever last night with 4 WILDs and one DILD.

The fist type of WILD is where my body starts vibrating and shaking like crazy (SP) and then when it reaches fever pitch I just float up and away. I am blind at first but then "ask/will" sight and then normally find I am in my bed room. I then fly out my window/roof/wall, over our garden and then off down our road. I then normally go find someone to talk to or nail.

The 2nd kind is where I have dreamlets. I wait for one that is fairly "solid" and then focus one on small area of the dream scene until it becomes stable - I then fly about and explore, and find people.

I normally have a goal in mind. Last night I completed the task of the month and did a summersalt. Normally sometimes there's some one I want to have sex with and I go find them or summon them.

I can DEILD also - then I can on occasion visualize a scene and it becomes "real". But most often I just go with wherever I find myself and work from there.

2 of my WILDS were the first type last night. The other two the second.

When I have the OOBE type exit then its always night outside. When I ride a dreamlett then its normally day.

I used to be a lot more goal-oriented (when I first joined DV). The TOTM was new and shiny so I would almost always do the tasks in WILDs. It's a lot easier to remember tasks when I WILD than when I'm in a regular DILD.

Nowadays, I've gotten lazy about doing any tasks or goals in dreams, so when I WILD I just go wherever the dream takes me. In general, I love to explore dream environments and play in them.

i do somersaults in real life almost every do so it'd be nothing special for me to do one in a dream.
