Interesting "vision" I see when I DEILD

I'm assuming that DEILD is a form of WILD since you're aware, if it's not sorry bout that

Anyways, I noticed that for the last little while, every time I go into a DEILD, I enter while seeing the same thing. I see this grid pattern that constantly changes (it's like when things are censored and you see all those little grids moving around... ugh, I don't really know how to explain it other than that).

It's quite useful because I know when I'm going to dream. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Yeah, it's a technique related to WILD.

Well, in my case i had in some of my DEILDs a vision of flashes of white but that didn't happen anymore to me since summer. All the times i reach Sleep Paralysis i seem to get a buzz in my hears like a high pitched sound.

As you said it is quite useful to know at what part of the WILD attempt you are.

It is a form of WILD, some people even like to think about DEILD as a "shortened" WILD.
Well, I've only DEILDed twice, and both times were very different. The first time I woke up from a dream, changed my position and went straight into the dream again. The 2nd time my alarm woke me up, I turned it off, changed my position and instantly fell into sleep paralysis, took me about 2 minutes to transfer it into a dream.

May I ask, how exactly are you DEILDing, because I'm almost 100% positive DEILD is the technique for me, I just cant seem the appropriate way to DEILD (I've tried alarms that turn themselves off, alarms I have to turn off, even drinking lots of water before going to bed) and, hasn't worked for me.
      Spoiler for Goals:

I don't really know, sometimes when I come out of a dream after REM (or whenever it is when u wake up in the night, i forget what it's called) I just know I'm exiting a dream (even though I can't make myself lucid >.<). Then I just stay still and relax and fall into a DEILD.

It's odd though, I haven't been able to do it recently, I tried it last night but didn't work so I don't know
