Every time I attempt to WILD and fall asleep...

...(because I didn't wake my mind enough), I dream about entering SP. Like, every single time this happens. The difference is, I'm able to think about getting up and moving in my dream SP, and get rid of the hallucinations I see that are scaring me.

      For instance...
Last night, I attempted to WILD. I fell asleep (ugh). Then, the second dream I had after that involved SP. I was in my bed I was actually asleep in, but it was light outside. I was facing the wall and I suddenly couldn't move. I then saw a really clear shadow of a soldier loading a huge rifle and pointing it at me, and then repeating. I 'thought' about getting up (note that this isn't a LD) and I guess you could say my 'astral' body threw the soldier out the window. I punched him a few times first. The shadow was actually being cast by a real person. =/

Is there a connection between attempting WILD and dreaming about it like this?
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Its because when you fell asleep you were thinking about Lucid Dreaming.
So you dreamt about one of the LDing stages-- Sleep Paralysis.

Also from that point you still could have gotten into an LD.
The first time I WILDed I thought that it just didn't work and that I sat up.
Then I did a routine RC and realized I'd actually done it D=
      Lucid Dreaming ensued.

Just make sure that even when it seems real you do reality checks =D
