      sleep paralysis?

okay, so this morning I think I had sleep paralysis, but I don't know... I'll just explain the whole thing...

so my alarm had gone off at the normal time. I was still tired, so i thought I'd try a MILD. I imagined the dream i just had, before waking up, but eventually I just fell asleep. Later (and I had no idea how much time had passed), I sort of woke up to sleep paralysis. This was the first time I had ever experienced sleep paralysis, so here's what happened:

I was just lying there. I could see the wall in front of me, even though I knew my eyes were closed. I suspected right away that this was sleep paralysis. I felt waves of tingliness, some stronger that others. Behind me I heard a constant shaking noise, like a maraca or something, and even further behind that I heard two people talking, faintly. I don't remember seeing any HH or whatever. the whole thing seemed demonic.

Eventually, for some reason (which I've forgotten), I started trying to wake myself up. I tried moving my finger or something, but it was still really hard to move. I had a false awakening in which I somehow got up and kneeled with my knees on the headrest, and my feet on the actual bed. I still couldn't move. I stayed like this for about a minute. Then, I slowly woke up for real...

So I want to know what really happened and why I didn't seem to have hallucinations. Thanks...

This was sleep paralysis. It sounds like a fairly typical experience. You did have hallucinations. They were physical hallucinations not visuals. Different experiences with SP will feature different hallucinations and transitions. Not everyone will see things and not everyone will feel vibrations. It just depends on the person and the attempt.
