      Needing to pee when WBTB

      Hey guys,

I have a bit of a problem. I have been trying the WBTB technique a bit recently. I have tried in total about 8 times I reckon, however I have only successfully tried it 3 times, with only 1 of those being accurate.

Recently, I have found my problem that stops me staying awake for the whole 40-60 minutes it needing to pee. I know people always recommend that you should empty your bladder when you are out of bed. However, I live in a bungalow with all bedrooms quite close to each other, in the same hallway as the bathroom. My Dad is a light sleeper and works dayshifts, therefore his sleep at night is important.

In other words, I don't want to go to the bathroom in a WBTB to avoid waking anyone up.

Is it vital to have an empty bladder when doing a WBTB? If so, do you guys know any handy techniques to stop you needing to pee so much?

      Thanks,

      Calum

If everyone else is asleep, make sure all your doors going to the bathroom are only slightly jarred shut (Meaning you only need to give a gentle nudge to open them), and just flush in the morning. I doubt anyone is going to care if the toilet isn't flushed over night, just say you were tired and forget if someone actually asks.

I've always thought of the idea of keeping the doors slightly ajar, but never thought of not flushing. Good idea, cheers

Dude, that is ridicolous. People need to wakeup and pee in the middle of the night, so you might wake someone, but i dont see how unless your floors are creaky as fuck all, but still. If you gotta go, then you gotta go, dont see how someone could get upset at you for that.

Yeh I know that man, they'd be fine. However, I'd prefer not to is what I am saying. Plus, i tend to be a bit noisy with doors and stuff by accident. But yeh, it should be fine tonight

Agreed. Go for it. Just tell your dad that, well, if he wants your bladder to explode and for you to wet your bed, then he's welcome to stop you. ^^
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
