Thread: NO luck in Wilding in time, and need help!!

I found out about lucid dreaming on a game site and started reading about it a day after I found out, never tried to lucid and wild on the first day but on the next day i tried when I was trying to go to sleep and wild at 9:30 pm and then in bed a sudden shock covered me and I felt numb, saw hallucinations of planets and then i pulled out because of fright.
since then never had any luck except for a few sensations of falling, shock, sounds and a one time successful wild into a 2 second lucid dream in which I was in bed.
I’ve been trying loads of things but I think my problem is recall because I never really took that much time on it
I need some tips and advice on how to do it because so far only had 1 lucid.
I don’t know how I did it on the second day I found out about lucid dreaming butt there must me some tips you can give.

GO to the tutorial section. READ EVERYTHING.

Then practice. Practice ALOT.

Many people find they will start having LDs within 30 days or so as long as you diligently work at the various practices.

Read the tutorials, read through the forums, do the work. If you are still having issues in a month then ask for help.

When I started I managed one or two DILDs a month. A year later and I could have 2-3WILDs a night plus a few DEILDs.

I read everything and practiced lots. Some things are worth a little time and effort.

Well, I have a feeling you might not understand what dream recall is, exactly.
Dream recall is VERY important, because having dream recall means that after you wake up from dreaming, you can remember what happened in your dream. For some it's easycake, for others it's very difficult to remember their dreams.

So, if remembering your lucid dreams (which is the whole point of having them) is important to you, then yes, dream recall is very important. I'm very new to LDing, and am actively working on my dream recall. Keep a dream journal and keep it often.

You're right about the dream recall. You need to be able to remember your dreams consistently. You could be having lucid dreams every night, then forgetting them by the time you wake up.
