Could you expand on what you mean by "making my eyesight go deeper"? |
|
Okay, so about a week ago I was trying to do a WILD and it was barely working and I was having early forms of HI...I think I discovered a technique on accident. What happened was I was thinking about the different levels on consciousness, and I was wondering if I could somehow "access" these different levels. I concentrated on making my eyesight go deeper, and all of a sudden my whole entire body started vibrating and my eyes went back and forth really fast. I am not sure if this is a new technique. Can someone please clarify this? |

it is kind of confusing to explain, but I'll do my best. hhmm, I'll make an example...Okay, so there is a window and 30 ft away is a tree instead of focusing on the window focus on the tree. That's probably the best I can do. Even though I cannot see anything I can still focus my eyesight deeper. It is really wierd. |

I think I know what you mean. I sometimes do it in dreams where things aren't as sharp as I'd like. A bit like when you go into a dark room and your eyes haven't adjusted yet, so you open them as wide as possible to speed up the adjustment? Like knowing there's something ahead of you that will come into focus if you keep staring deeper. Is that somewhere close? |

yeah, that sounds almost exactly like it. |

Sweet, I'll try it at the HH phase of my next WILD. God, listen to that jargon... I was just thinking back to when I started all this and had no clue about anything! |

Aledrea it seem we have similar ways of using the WILD techniques. I often focus on the backsides of my eyelids. It feels like "looking deeper" into the darkness. What I think, it's just making your eyes go "squintish", behing closed eyelids. This technique works just fine in obtaining clarity of vision, when HI occurs. Lately, I switched to focus on the white noise, so I leave my eyes do their own job. I experiment with techniques to find the most suitable one for me. |

....have a lucid dream tonight...
dreams recalled: lost the count
I think the main point is to try not to get distracted by the HI or let it lull you into unconsciousness. If focusing on something far away and letting the closer images pass by helps, then great. |

I think that happened because you were using your imagination to change your depth perception, so your own imagination made it look like you were in a big and dark room, even though the darkness was right in front of you. I've done that before, but I've never toyed with it yet. I will in a few minutes and I'll tell you how that goes. |
