Do a WILD when it seems like fun. I prefer WILD naps. I can do WILD WBTB/+CAT but it is more fun to do it in naps. |

I've read quite a few threads and sources on the topic but I still have a few questions about the times/timings of WILDs: |

Thought plus emotion creates attitude. Attitude plus action creates experience and experience determines reality
I've found that I WILD best in the early morning when the light is blue outside, a couple hours before I'm actually supposed to wake up for school/church/whatever. |

Somehow the moment seems so windowless
I cannot see tomorrow through its panes
And yet I cling with simple childlike faith
To my belief that warmth can never die

I say start WILDing now. DILDong isn't necessarily easier. For some people, including me, WILDing comes more naturally. You just need to find what works for you. |

That's good advice and also, if you have time wake up at an abnormal hour like 3 or 4 o'clock if you go to bed early, like at 9 or 10 or something. I had a great wild today doing this, you may find that taking naps will be much easier if you want up early and stay up for 2 or 3 hours and then go back to sleep, and have lucid dreaming on your mind and think about it to should help, i hope this helps you. |

Yeah I tried a half-assed attempt at WILDing one night that I didn't REALLY expect to work, but I was just reading about it and getting the gist of it. HOWEVER, at one point I sort of jolted awake, and I thought it might of been a false awakening, but I moved my hand and felt my pillow and it was so real I immediately dismissed it and didn't do an RC...maybe I should've. |

Oh btw another brief question: I know it varies amongst people, but how long does it GENERALLY take for most people to fall asleep and WILD? It'll be easier to organise around other things timewise with a general outline.. |

Sorry to give you the roundabout answer, but it differs. Greatly. For me, it takes twenty minutes to a half hour to get to the point of seeing dreamscenes and being nearly asleep. If I keep myself awake longer after that, then that's just me, but that's when I can easily go to sleep if I so choose to. |

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
