      Body rumbling while attempting WILD

So I have gotten back into lucid dreaming recently and have been trying different induction methods. The other night I was attempting a WILD and my whole body started to shake. I know that this is common with WILDs so I just sort of let it happen. After it was over I opened my eyes and did a reality check but I was awake.

Now my question is... Should I just continue to try and fall asleep consciously while waiting for HI or is the shaking point when a dream would begin?

      Thanks alot!

Well my advice would be to not focus on your body or keeping your body stil just focus on your hypnagogic imigery and the most important thing falling asleep.

In my experience, yes. Every time I've WILDed, I've gone through the rumbles, and every time I've had success, the dream has come right after...or not come at all.

It's pretty easy to wake up from the shakes, actually. Your mind needs to eventually go to sleep so as to have a lucid dream, but when you've got such a powerful stimulant going on there, the natural reaction is to wake back up.

The key is just learning to ignore the rumbles and not seek them out. It's a lucid dream you're going after, not hypnagogic stuff, so just don't pay too much care to it and you'll be fine
