      Was I close to SP?

Yesterday I attempted a wild before going to sleep. I laid on my back and closed my eyes. I tried to focus on the random images my mind threw at me. After a while I got into it and started hearing music(I made the singers sing 'I am dreaming'). Then, I started feeling as if my body was floating. It felt as if my legs and the rest of my body were seperated and were spinning in different directions. It's actually a very pleasant feeling xD (I've experienced before, but before I knew anything about wilds.) I was very excited about it and was breathing fast. I tried to control my breathing... I couldn't stop myself from swallowing either. But the spinning didn't stop. After a while, my hands and feet started going numb. But then the spinning stopped and I couldn't focus anymore because I heard my brother watch naruto in the next room( naruto at midnight, anyone? ). The numbness didn't leave and I didn't move, trying to get into the dream or something...(I wasn't sure what to do at that point anyway) But I kept getting distracted (I need earplugs...). I tried, but the numbness started feeling uncomfortable, so I gave up and just fell asleep in a different position.
I tried waking up after 5 hours and trying again, but wasn't awake long enough and fell asleep without managing to try anything.
I've experienced the spinning and floating sensation sometimes ever since I was small... is it part of SP? And also, what should I do when I reach that point?

SP is sleep paralyzation. It's when your body shuts down, unabling you to move.
I think the spinning sensations you're experiencing might be part of HI.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I know what sp is... But I was wondering if the numbness was the beginning of it?

Well, if you ask me, you were not only in SP but actually very close to WILD.
You would have succeed if you were calm in other words don't get excited and you will get there.
Oh and little tip DON'T try to notice SP HI or whatever else just fall asleep consciously.
I hope you know what i mean.
And i suggest to check out this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=96892
