      My WILD Attempts

I'm a noob, but I just had two more lucid dreams last night. I've been doing a similar technique to try to elicit it. The first two I had were way off (I took a 5-HTP and got lucky lol).

I will sleep 4.5-5.5 hours. I almost always listen to isochronic tones.

When I wake up I generally go to the bathroom, and maybe grab a pill or two.

Then I lay down with my eyes closed and listen to one of the lucid induction mp3s that are offered here. This period is usually about 30 minutes or less. I stayed up for 50 minutes last night however because I listened to tones that long. One for sleep and one to induce the dreams. I haven't had much success unless I stay up for more than 30 minutes, but that brings the potential chance of bringing me trouble in getting back to sleep.

So what is your personal opinion of my technique? Is there anything you think I should change? This is the main technique behind my lucidity. I do a few RCs by looking at my hands a bit.

Usually between 20 minutes to an hour after I've turned the tones I listen to off.

You shouldnt need RC's in WILDing, unless your experiencing a false awakening. Normally you should just ease into the dream with full awareness. Try to WILD with no distractions, turn the music off and just breathe. I find that listening to anything, jerks me out of deep sleep pretty fast. Just read some of the guides here and follow them, music induction shouldnt be needed.
