I'll try to post a proverb here every Friday (something to look forward to at the end of the week!). They'll have something to do with lucid dreaming, but not always directly. The goal is to provide some little pieces of wisdom that you can remember and take with you on your lucid dreaming quest. |

Have your DJ ready on your nightstand before going to bed. If you wake up in the night, use the glow from your alarm clock to see when you're writing an entry so that you don't have to turn on a light and hurt your eyes. Moonlight and other ambient lighting also works. |

While lucid, you should be in a certain state of mind. Always stay aware of the dream world, but don't become absorbed by it to a point where you become just another dream character wandering around unaware. In a sense, you should be concentrating on everything and nothing, all at once. |

Always RC immediately after waking up, in case it's a false awakening. |

The path that leads to what we truly desire is long and difficult, but only by following that path do we achieve our goal. ~Master Splinter |
