      Extreme Tingling Sensation :O

hey guys, ive been trying LD'ing for about 2 weeks now and ive only really had one slight lucid dream where, i realised i was dreaming and i woke up due to over excitement.
But recently i manually woke up in the middle of a bad dream (closed my eyes hard and breathed in fast, ive done this in bad dreams since i was a kid) and i decided to re-enter the bad dream in a concious state, so while i was entering the dream world while maintaining conciousness i started to hear people talking and cars driving by (i wasnt scared) but as soon as i realised i was entering a dream i got soo exited that i decided to try and stableise (even though i could not even see the dream world, i could only hear it) so as i rubbed my hands together in the dream world i started to get this extremely prominent tingeling sensation run through my entire body and i woke up. Was this a form of DEILD because it kind of worked for me and thats one of the closest to a LD ive been, and wth was that "tingeling sensation"? i would really apprechiate if somebody responded, thanks

The tingling sensation is sleep paralysis.

During the transition stage, you may experience all kinds of hallucinations and sensations. Keep in mind, that none of them, no matter how scary, can hurt you. I know it's hard, but you have to keep your excitement down, both during transition and inside the dream.

Sounds like DEILD. It acctually is a short form of WILD, when you wake up from a dream, stay motionless and enter a dream again.

      Good luck with your LDs!

Those transitional hallucinations can be surprisingly convincing. Just remember, anything that happens to your body during a lucid dream, happens every night when you fall asleep. The only reason you feel it when lucid dreaming is because you are paying attention.

If you are startled out of your concentration, just let it go, and go right back to what you were just doing. Your attempt is not ruined. You don't have to start over from scratch. You will be right back where you left off in a few seconds. Sometimes I feel two or three rounds of intense vibrations before I can fully enter a dream. Be persistent, and remain calm.
