Ha ha, nice! This is great. I love the whole bit with you laying the purple T-shirt that you feared was a poop. Kudos for diving in so fearlessly on the "lay an egg" task. It's hilarious that black Danny wound up wearing the Disney/Halloween shirt.

You know, I've had that "fast DILD" transition sometimes as well when I do a WILD attempt. It's like I'll remember that I was trying to WILD but I'm also sure that I lost awareness and have little to no memory of the non-lucid portion of the dream. I don't even know what you call those but like you, I'm not complaining!

Well damn.
Now I have a reason to be jelly of YOUR dream.

Wow, awesome. :0 I find it really neat how you were able to attain lucidity just like that, from knowing that you fell asleep just before. I also love how hostile the DC got when you told him he wasn't real. > w <

You got lucid for the food task at Whole Foods? Lucky!!

Isn't dream food amazing? This month's task really opened my eyes to how good food can taste in a dream. For some reason (and I don't know what it was) I just figured that taste wouldn't amount to much. Guess I'd paid attention to too many accounts of people having negative experiences with dream foods. When will I stop making this mistake and just try stuff for myself, expecting it to be awesome?

Anyway, congratulations on the LD! Nailed that task just in the nick of time for April. Now if you'd only remembered to also make a diamond, trick a DC into sitting on a whoopy cushion, and drawn a very tawdry picture, you'd have nailed that four-in-one challenge.

Your drawing was waaaaay more ambitious than mine. I just drew something I was going to do anyway. Lame. If I hadn't done the diamond task I'd probably return my wings until I got it right

Then I saw a tiny illumination behind one of the clouds, and it got brighter and larger. Then something the size of a ping pong ball popped out from behind the cloud, and landed on the street in front of me, then bounced away.

LOL. I love the "comet" there at the end. Seriously, though, I think you pretty much pulled this one off. If you were judging for anyone but yourself, I bet you'd have given credit for it. Your comet was just a little... small is all. It's still kinda what you drew. But I get holding yourself to a high standard. Still really cool.

Great job not falling for Chris' escape and getting caught up in keeping him safe. That is so, so hard I know. I tend to freak out when my DC children get into trouble. The scene w/ Danny putting away groceries really amused me too. I had that happen in one of my early dream. Wife did the exact same thing and asked me for help. She didn't hesitate to lay a little lucid guilt trip on me about it, either. Takes some willpower and self-awareness for a young oneironaut to avoid falling for that.

Nice work with the diamond! I've come close twice on that one now but keep losing the dream before the big reveal...

Not sure if it will work, but I think having a solid goal probably would set the stage for more lucids to come. At least it's worth a try. You guys are so inspiring!

I should make that a regular thing in the TOTM rules, huh. Some kind of reward for getting 2, 3, or 4 in one? I dunno, I'll sleep on it.

Ah, it's cool that you got an LD in the middle of the night, since like you said, I know that you're more of an early (or even mid) morning kind of gal. It'd be cool if your subC started adjusting to your new work schedule by throwing you a few more of these, preferably ones that didn't involve a headache.

And I love how much fun you have with your son in your lucids. He makes for a great DC.

Cool prank nevertheless! Scaring the heck out of a DC was my plan B for a prank, if I don't remember the other ultra simple prank I am planning on hopefully doing by the end of the month. We still have like 12 nights left, so that's reassuring.

Ah, brilliant! I love that your subC came up with the theme of tying colors so nicely to flavors like that. I am jealous!!
