Odd, I totally had a gender swap dream the night before last! I don't think I've ever had one before. I was a girl and watching Angelina Jolie play with herself while she watched me do the same. ...Just saying that makes me feel like a bit of a creeper.
Ha, I can see how that would be a concern. I've never tried the finger thing, though I should, that sounds like it'd be cool to see it work. The spinning thing worked for me once, but it usually doesn't. I usually try rubbing my hands together but lately that actually takes my attention away from other things and wakes me up.
I totally understand. I was that way at first with the finger through the palm thing. It worked a couple times, then failed. And the spinning thing never worked. Shouting "More Lucidity!" has worked a handful of times, but I'm always scared to do it because I'm afraid that my real life voice is saying it too, and I don't want my family to hear me shouting in my sleep lol. But I'm pretty sure it's just in the dream.
Haha, that'll show him who's boss. XP Well you're lucky you've found it then. I'm still looking for my thing. I've managed to make a bunch of different powers work so far on impulse but the degree of success each time is pretty much based on chance.
I totally understand, Alyzarin. I think different things work for different folks. Not sure why the mirror thing works so well for me. But I think it is proof that when you find something that works, it's worth it to stick with it. Mine just keep getting better and better as a result. In fact! It gives me an idea: the next time I have to deal with Demon Danny, I'm just going to get up and go to the bathroom mirror, garner up some strength, then get a glass of water and pour it on the little bastard's head haha!
It's interesting that you can use mirrors and reflections that way, they never work even remotely in my dreams. Every time I've ever seen a reflection of myself it's been horribly disfigured or bizarre, or it's been a totally different person that from then on I just think is myself. Generally they don't do anything but confuse me.
I'd love to try a gender swap in a dream. That last time I was a female, I had to give back a bra to a female...too bad it was non-lucid. But at least you are getting lucids compared to me....I just remember too many non-lucids . Good luck next time.

That sounds really intense! I had something kind of similar happen once. I had a FA and there was another girl in my bed who claimed to be my sister from an alternate dimension, and when I jumped back she grabbed me and we both tumbled over on to the floor and she kept trying to pull me back toward her and then she started melting on top of me. I woke up after that.
