    1. Why Was The Toilet So Small? November 3rd, 2011

      by , 11-04-2011 at 09:39 PM
This night, I thought to myself that I hoped I didn't remember many dreams because I would have a lot to write the next morning. Well, my wish came true.

I tried WBTB, to no avail.

The first thing I remember was that Grandmom, Uncle Tom, Dad, and Grandpop were all in the same room. There was something very dramatic in the air, and Dad was lying about something very serious. It involved a red book that was on the cabinet. The setting was my grandparents house on my mom's side of the family, but they have since moved out of there. My dad's lies had something to do with his mom. I woke up in the middle of the night after this dream, and I decided not to write it down, because it was a pretty disturbing dream, the way it was presented, and I didn't want to remember it. I remembered it anyway.

Then, there was a long-winded dream about Metroid (gotta love me some Metroid). This one was the best one is a while, but sadly, I didn't write enough down to remember it. I know there were bits where you controlled the ship in first person, but that's about it. This took place at the old house, too, and I wrote down "Sean", "Grandmom" (I don't know which one), and "Mom."

Then I woke up for the WBTB, and I went back to sleep after writing about the Metroid dream. I should stay up longer.

I had this dream where, I was (well, I was really just watching) Dee from Always Sunny In Philadelphia. The gang was trying to put on this show for these hobos, and they rehearsed some music. Dee was playing guitar, and didn't learn the ending of any of the songs, and they were going to play three. Right before they went on, Dee went up to Mac and said, "Look, just play the first two, and I'll play the last one alone." She was going to improvise what she didn't know. The first two songs went off without a hitch. The crowd loved it. The last song however, which was Asilos Magdalena by The Mars Volta, had some issues. Since I was (sort of) Dee, she knew how to play the song, but forgot the rest of it. What's worse is that the guitar kept flipping around and was backwards for a lot of the song. Luckily, she managed to get into this groove of an A minor, then a C major, then she played a solo to it.

The last dream I had took place in my current house. Brian was watching TV, and I had to go to the bathroom (number 2. It's relevant). The house was very messy, as if we were renovating the whole place, and the kitchen had a checkered black and white style rather than its usual pale tile. I went to the bathroom by the kitchen, but there was renovating in there, too. the normal toilet was taken out, and sitting in the corner, and it was replaced by this impossibly small toilet that only mice would be able to fit on. This room also had black and white checkered tiles on the floor, and the walls were all blue. The door to the bathroom turned into these double doors, with slanted slats in them, so that you could see out if you looked up, but not if you looked down. When I woke up I realised that these were the doors that were to the bathroom closet in the old house. Anyway, I was really having a predicament, since I had to go terribly, but I couldn't because of the toilet. So I yelled for my mom, so she could bring me some toilet paper, although I don't know what good that would have done me. At this point, I am pressing my hand against my ass so that this turd doesn't pop out, because it's getting really loose. My mom shows up and I realise that she can't see anything. Her eyes looked like Neo's from The Matrix when he gets his eyes burnt (the third movie), but it was DE that her eyes looked like this because she was getting an eye version of a pedicure done.

Then I woke up, happy as hell I didn't have to shit in real life.

No WBTB, because I forgot again, and no MILD, and no LD.

First, I wrote down in my dream journal "Talk in song." I don't remember what this means.

Then, I remember smoking with Anthony and John, but then I was in this haunted house with Anthony and Alec. This part of the dream was very interesting, but I don't remember really any of it, aside from ghosts, and that it had a weird plot.

Then, I was in my backyard of my current house with my cousin, Ryan, and his step dad, Butch, who I've known for the majority of my life. We were tossing around a baseball, and it was a very sunny day. For some reason, in this dream I couldn't catch a ball, and I kept either missing, or running away from the ball like I was afraid of it. I also couldn't throw it at all.

I also wrote down a song that popped into my head. This happens a lot, and when they pop up, I can hear the specific instruments, and the special effects and everything. It's pretty cool, but anyway, I wrote down the intervals in my dream journal so I didn't forget them. I went to play them on the piano when I woke up, and it didn't sound as good.

Then, I remember this part where I was in class, drumming on my desk, like I always did. Kate Barr, who was the first person I had a crush on back in 1st through like 4th grade, asked me to stop because it was getting annoying. I explained to her that it wasn't a big deal. Then she said it was unhealthy. I said, "How is it unhealthy? It's just one of those nervous habits that you do passively, like chewing a pen cap, or jiggling your leg." She replied with, "Oh, that's really bad, you should stop." Wtf?

Then I was in my old house, and I was with Ephraim, Stephanie (?), and some third person. We were In my upstairs hallway, and we were outside the bathroom working on this chemistry lab assignment. We had this bowl of green solution, which was acid or something. Ephraim kept talking or humming or something, and one of the group asked him to stop because he breath was bad. When I was looking at the bowl of acid, everything around me turned into a classroom. My group mates were gone. Some how, the class was done, and I got a good grade. Then we found out that we had two more hours before the class was over. Anthony was there, and he didn't do his chem lab, and he needed to or else he would fail. I said, "Just do it, you have two more hours." His argument was that we had two more hours until school was over, not two more hours for this class alone.

The clearest part of my dream was the last one I had. I was at my Dad's, but his house wasn't the apartment he lives in now. It was a very large mansion. We were standing in front of a vault with a picture of a lady on the front. He said, "You're going to get married some day, right?" I said, "Yes, but I don't really find anyone interesting." Then, we were playing a word game on this little table in a hallway. The hallway was huge, and could easily pass for the main room in a fairly large house. We were up against a wall playing. It was Scrabble, but it was DE that it was something else. Anyway, someone played the word "omniscient" and we got into an argument about who was pronouncing it correctly. I said om-ni-shint. He said om-ni-sigh-ant. I told him I was right, but he wouldn't believe me. He went to get a dictionary, and I said, "Don't worry about it, let's just play the game." He said he already had the book out. He found the word, and found out that I was right. Then he said something he would NEVER say in real life, "I hate it when you think you're right, but then you just prove me wrong." It's actually pretty funny for me to write that down, because my dad is a smart guy, he's not usually wrong. In fact...I can't remember a time when I proved him wrong in anything, really. Anyway, Sean wasn't there because he was busy with some stuff, because he was living on his own or something. After the whole dictionary thing, he suggested that we go to breakfast. I wanted to show him some of the music I listen to on the way there, and I got images of us driving there while listening. Then "More Than A Feeling" by Boston started playing in the background. Then the song switched to something by Fleet Foxes. Anyway, I was about to get up, when I saw something in my eye. There was this black spot in my vision that wouldn't go away. My left eye closed, and I could now barely see. My dad said something like, "Let's go! We're going to be late." I said that I can't. I couldn't because of the thing in my eye, but I didn't mention this yet. We then had a back-and-forth that escalated into argument. Then I said, "I can't because I can't see!" He thought I meant that I was blind. I reassured him that I could see, but I can't open my left eye, and there is something in my right. He looked in my right eye, and said there was nothing in there. Suddenly, I was in the bathroom, which was the bathroom of my current house, and I was looking in the mirror to find a black thing in my eye. I didn't see anything, but all the while, I could see it in my vision. Then I went to the bathroom, and for some reason there was a shower head over the toilet that turned on, but I didn't get wet. There was also this plastic grate over the toilet. And poop appeared in the toilet even though I was peeing. Then I noticed that there were ants crawling up me. I couldn't flick them off because my right hand wasn't working, and they were really strong. I brushing them off, and they either clung onto me, or clung onto my hand. I was freaking out. Then I woke up, and saw an ant-shaped piece of fuzz right in my vision where the thing was in my dream. It was also the ant that I saw crawling up my chest, and was the reason I couldn't brush them off, since I wasn't actually moving the fuzz out of my vision. Crazy stuff.

      Please excuse the poor capitalization.

This is the second day trying the WBTB method, the first being the 19th. No lucid dream.

Unfortunately, most of the dreams I remember had to do with just staring at piano keys I believe. However, the reason i don't remember much is because I almost had an OBE/WILD!

      Twice!

Maybe it had something to do with the wake back to bed method? Although I think I just got lucky and started to wake up at the right time.

the most i remember of my dreams is only a few leading up to the first time.

I remember watching TV with dad, but for some reason it was at our house. he was eating grapefruit, and i was on the floor. i forget what i was doing on the floor, but the show we were watching was like a collaboration between family guy and american dad. i was like "i don't remember them being the same show." then, i remember listening to Other Lives (good band, I recommend) in my room. I had headphones on, an i was trying to crawl under the rockband drumkit. my logic was that they wouldn't have made the songs in such a way so that you couldn't fit. then, i remember seeing a cartoon black girl, who was very short, wore a yellow dress, and had big eyes, and an afro. she said something. I don't remember what is was, but the point is that is was supposed to be evil or something. or maybe she screamed. i don't remember. but then, i told sean and dad about it, and dad said that i should show him the clip, so we can do something about it. i said ok, and i was up in my room looking for it. apparently, the ghost didn't want me to do this, and came after me. it was DE that it was holding me down on the bed, so the dream turned into a nightmare, with my sleep paralysis making it seem more real. i started to wake up, and i couldn't move, or yell for help. i was still half asleep so i still thought the ghost was after me. after i realised i was waking up, i felt them. the vibrations of anyone who has ever experienced an OBE/WILD.
i didn't understand it at first, but as soon as i was actually awake, i immediately understood, and was disappointed that i didn't try anything.

the vibrations felt like when your hand JUST falls asleep. its not the pins and needles kind, it the rumbly, tingly, vibration kind. or maybe it feels like when you hit your funny bone, but all over your body, and without the pain.

the second time this started to happen, i was like "cool at least i get a second chance." i tried to will myself out of my body (for an OBE), but nothing worked. maybe i need to actually try to physically move? ill try that next time (although I should be focusing on lucid dreaming lol), with my hand under my leg, so that if i can raise my hand, i know it went through my leg.

i had more dreams after i went back to sleep finally, but I don't remember them because i couldn't take my mind off the almost WILD/OBE.

I remembered later in the day that my final dream was about this weird hotel/learning camp? Cosmo Kramer was there, as were a bunch of other celebrities, but they could have just been DE celebrities. One part of the dream involved a flooded hallway i think, with a car pulling out of a driveway in the rain? I don't know, but i do remember that it was a pretty cool dream.
