      Lucid Dream

I took a nap today and had a pretty epic dream, I'd say. Here it goes:

The sky was a bright orange color. It was late afternoon, and there weren't many clouds in the sky. A large building project was going on, and a lot of people were working. People were given certain assignments in certain areas, usually with two to five people working on the same thing. I, however, was working alone on my assignment. I don't remember what it was I was assigned to do. but often I went to go see what my friends were doing. They were Jaysmillisse, Jasmine, and Kevin. I'm not sure what they were doing, but whatever it was required them to be in a large tent in the center of the building project. Anyways, I continuously went back and forth from my area to theirs, to talk to them. In between us was this one area that had sharp sticks sticking up from the ground. I was constantly stabbed in the foot by them when going to talk to my friends, but I never figured to go around them.

Then it was night time, and the building was complete. The transition from the building process to the point of completion was instantaneous, because I don't remember anything in between. But I was about to leave to go home, and I saw Jaysmillisse in the hallway, so we walked outside together. It was raining, and it was cold enough that we could see our breath, but neither one of use were cold or wet. We were walking to one of the exits, when suddenly a wall of ice blocked it and the only other exit. A guy appeared behind us, standing and walking along the wall of the building. A light mist appeared, and an eerie song began playing. He was talking, but I couldn't hear what he was saying. He then crouched down and pulled up a tombstone, the only thing on it being R.I.P. Then, hands shot up from the ground and zombies climbed out from below. Yea, cliche, but whatever. One of the exits became open, and me and Jaysmillisse ran out the exit, hand in hand. We ran to her house first, but when we got there, her parents had become zombies. So we ran from her house to my house, and know one was inside. We locked all the doors and windows, and double-checked them all. Then we took time to catch our breath. The doorbell rung. So i went to get the door, and it was a zombie. Jaysmillisse told me that as long as I was calm, it couldn't hurt me. So I went outside onto the porch, telling myself to stay calm. I told it to leave, but it could tell I was afraid and inched forward. I took a deep breath and calmly repeated myself, and the zombie's eyes widened, and it shakily took a step back. Firmly, I told it to leave, again and again. Eventually it ran off. I walked back inside, and Jaysmillisse gave me a hug.

      The dream then ended.

      Lucid Dream

Well, the other night I had two dreams, and they were both rather... interesting, I suppose as all dreams tend to be. So let's jump right in, shall we?

The first dream began with me watching a couple in their house, as if I were a camera inside of their home. I see the husband tie up the woman, and he pulls out a home-made pipe bomb out of his pocket. It has a timer on it, and he sets it to a few minutes. After he walks out of the room, and then the house, I somehow have my body and am in the room with the woman. I frantically grab the bomb, and throw it out a window, then run to the living room of the house, opposite of where the bomb is. Why I didn't untie the woman, I don't know. But she ran into the front of the house as well, and then the bomb explode. It was loud, very loud, and you could see the explosion because it pretty much disintegrated half of the house. I looked out one of the windows and saw the man about to get in his car, smiling. The woman picked up a rock, and threw it at him. So now he know's were alive, and comes back to get us. Great. Suddenly, the house is high up, or perhaps it already was, but you couldn't tell on the side I was looking at. The man can in the front door, and we began to fight. Eventually, the man slipped on the edge of the house, on the side that the bomb exploded. I grabbed his hand, and tried to pull him up. Below him was a lake of fire, the fire spitting upwards. The man glared at me, and apparently decided he'd rather die than be saved by me. As he's falling, this dream ends.

      End of Dream 1
      Enter: Dream #2

My brother and I are running, not sure from what. We climb onto a building, scaling the wall. Once on the roof, we hop from one building to another. Yes, this feels familiar. Parkour. The town is built in a very old-fashioned way, the kind that makes it rather easy to scale almost any building because of the constant ledges provided. I've been in this place before, but I'm not sure when. My brother and I continue to jump from roof to roof, when I remember what I'm here to get. A hat. The hat is heavily guarded though, so we'd have to be sneaky about it. We climbed on to another building, and some guards were patrolling an adjacent roof. I told him to hide, but he pretended to not hear me, and got us caught. But before the guards could handcuff us, I punched one of them in the face, knocking him of the roof. I ducked down to dodge the butt of a man's gun, and landed a solid punch to his gut, causing him to double over in pain. The last guard I simply kicked off the roof. Me and my brother knew more would come, so we ran as fast as we could, and then got off of the roofs. We ran in the crowd, trying to get out of the town. But then something out of the shadows flew towards me and knocked me into a building. When I stood up, it was gone, but I could feel a presence, as if it were watching me. Then it made its move. The being lashed out at me, and I side-stepped it, making him turn around and attack. It tackled me, and I finally saw what it was. A vampire. I kicked him off of me and ran up the stairs, the vampire using the shadows to follow me, never losing track of where I went. Once I got to the top floor, I was stuck. Now way to get to the roof, no way down, since the staircase was shrouded in darkness. I decided to end it here, and grabbed the dagger on my hip. The vampire came at me from the fore, but he landed a hit on my back. I fell forward and dropped the dagger. Scrambling to grab it, the vampire kicked me in my side, repeatedly. I grabbed his leg, and pulled as hard as I could. Once he was on the ground, I stood up and grabbed the knife, but when I turned around, he was gone. That ability to become shadows was getting annoying. He was in the room, but where? I could feel him, and slowly, my ability to sense him became more precise. I had found him. I blindly stabbed in the directioin I felt him, for my eyes proved of no use to me at the moment. After opening my eyes, I saw the dead vampire on the floor, bleeding black blood.

      End of that dream.

      Lucid Dream

So, just wanted to say that I'm not one of those members that creates an account then quits, I've just been very busy lately and I haven't had time to use the computer. Since the last DJ entry, I've had a few dreams, and one or two lucids, but the lucid dreams only lasted momentarily before I woke up. I'll give as much of a recap of my dreams I can.

I find myself walking down a flight of stairs with red carpet going down. It's a spiral staircase, with stone walls that are green. It looks very medieval-ish, with torches on the wall and such. The red carpet I mentioned earlier is situated in the middle of the stairs, and it's about three meters in width. There's 1 and a half or so meters of un-carpeted floor on either side of the carpet. So yea, pretty roomy. I'm walking down the stairs with three friends of mine. (Around the time of this dream, I had recently transfered into public school, and made three new friends.) All three were female, and their names are Jasmine, Jaysmillise, and Jessica. Anyways, we continue walking down the hallway until the stairs stop long enough to fit a grand piano. The stairs continued after you passed it. But I seemed to be the only one who noticed the piano, and also a skeleton on the wall next to it. Next thing I know, the skeleton comes to life and is wearing a top hat, and it's talking to me. He tells me,

"I've had my eye on your little friend over there for a while now~"

      "Who, the shorter one, Jaysmillise?"

"Yes, yes, that's the one. Now, if you've not noticed, only you can see me. I'd like to ask you a favor~"

      "What is it?"

"I'd like to borrow your body, if I could. Just for a moment, so I can use my piano skills to woo her~ It'll only be for a moment~"

So after he explains that I won't be harmed in this transition of bodies, I agree. I felt nothing during the body swap, all I was aware of was the next moment I was watching my body from somewhere else, like 3rd person. So I see the skeleton guy start talking to my friend, and then he proceeds to play the grand piano with exceptional skill. He plays it beautifully, with grace, and then he speeds it up and he plays faster and faster, unimaginably fast. Jaysmillise is amazed by his skill, and he proceeds to put the moves on her, if you will.

      I soon wake up.
In that dream, I didn't become lucid, not even close. But twice I became lucid after that. I don't remember what happened before I became lucid, but both times, the same thing happened, so I'll tell this only once.

When I became lucid, I looked around me, and looked at my body, thinking, Oh my god, I did it! I did it! I instantly think, I want to fly! and simply jump up. I begin floating and then start going faster and faster. I can feel the wind flying past me so fast, I have to squint my eyes. But something's wrong. The dream starts becoming dark, and bleak. Dull. I start having this odd feeling, deep inside me. It's maybe apprehension? Fear? As if I know something bad is going to happen. The dream is fading! I have to re-stabilize it! I try to look at my hands, but I'm flying, and that fact alone distracts me from focusing on keeping the dream there.

      I wake up panting.

And that's it. I hope to have more dreams soon. I'll be trying to update this more often.

Goshes. So, I had another lucid dream the other night, only thing was, my mom woke me up suddenly, and made me get up and stuff, and when I realized that I had a lucid dream and didn't write anything down, I forgot it. So... Lucid #2 = down the toilet. (Bad pun.)

      Lucid Dream

So, I've been frustrated recently with not being able to recall my dreams, however this one pleased me, since I became lucid. And it contained copious amounts of sexual content, which I edited. >.> Anywho, I was laying on the couch watching Criminal Minds when I fell asleep...

I found myself in a cell, and looked around myself. I saw my friend Nathan sitting on a bed, with tan sheets. He had one foot up on the bed, and just nodded at me. On the other side of the room, my brother, Miguel, was simply laying down on another bed looking at the ceiling. I asked them what was going on, to which Nathan replied,

"We went back in time, and got arrested..."

After that, memories of this arrest came back to me. So I simply nodded and stood up. I walked up to the cell bars and tried to see outside the cell as best I could. Indeed, it appeared as if we went back in time since everyone else was wearing things that you'd see in Medieval times. Chain mail, peasants, guards carrying maces... you know. Anyways, I turned back around and leaned against the cell bars, and saw Nathan drawing with a marker on the stone wall. He goes on to explain to me that we got here by drawing a portal with a marker. (I lol'd) He said he was trying to get back to our time period, but the portal wasn't working like it was before. Nathan would draw the circle, but then the mark on the wall would simply disappear. I asked him if I could try, and he tossed me the marker. I walked up to the bed and stepped up, getting close to the wall. I drew a large circle, but it just disappeared like before. I tried again and again, to no avail. After awhile, I simply gave up. Nathan convinced me to try again, and this time, the circle took the appearance of the surface of water, and when you touched it, it felt like your hand was wet, although there was nothing on it. So we all simply slipped through it, and appeared in some building.

We were in an elevator, and I heard the woman next to us talking to her daughter. I didn't hear what she was saying beforehand, but one thing she said caught my attention...

"...but since we're in a dream..."

And that made it click for me.
I looked around the elevator thinking, This is a dream! It's a dream! I remembered not to get too excited, or else I'd wake up. So I decided to examine my hands in order to prolong my lucidness. I can see all the lines and such in my hand, and after a few minutes, I look up around myself. Everything is much clearer than before. I want to change my location, so I close my eyes.

When I open them, I'm laying down on the couch in the living room. It's completely dark, just like it would be if I normally woke up at night. I figured I had simply woke up from my dream, but then I remembered that I should do a Reality Check.
(I think it should be noted that I never remember to do those...) So I go to the clock in the kitchen, and it reads 5:24. I turn and look at it again, and it's changed to 4:37. Odd. But not enough to convince me. (apparently in the dream, at least.) So I walked back to my room, which was right down the hallway, and turned the light switch, since I recalled that light switches typically won't work in dreams because it's difficult for the brain to adjust all the colors because of the light. Or something like that. But then I remembered, Wait, we don't have a lightbulb in our room. So then I went over to the bathroom and flipped the switch. No lights. Which was odd, considering there are four lightbulbs, at least one should work. So just for the sake of making sure I was right, I flipped the switch in my mom's room. No light. At that point, I conclude that I am still asleep. And this is where it gets weird. I turn to the bathroom and I see a goat. A freaking goat, in my bathroom. It scared the crap out of me. And then it proceeded to kick the crap out of me. At this point, either my memory fails me, or I wake up.

My brother tells me that the two times that I recalled in my dreams are two different times that I woke up at night. Weird.
Also, lucid dreams are surprisingly realistic. I mean, I couldn't tell the difference between the fact that I was dreaming and that it wasn't reality. o-o

I don't really remember how this dream started out, but from what I recall I was at some place ( I didn't take the time to check my surroundings) before a teacher called me in with a group of students. The teacher went on to tell us how we were supposed to be transfered into a new school. He/she went on to explain certain rules (some of which where ridiculous) that this school had, for example, no wearing jackets backwards, and no opening doors. So anyways, myself and this group of students end up at this other school, and one by one, we start breaking the rules and get in trouble. I'm the last one that breaks a rule, and I get in trouble. The punishment is that I'm detained in some room during the lunch hour. Horrible torture indeed. When they finally let me out, I don't get as much food as the other students. Surprisingly, I see my cousin (who happened to have visited me that night before I went to sleep) and I sat next to him and ate.

After that I have no recollection.

I was frustrated the day before because I hadn't recalled my dream, and upset because I took a nap that day while getting an MRI scan and didn't remember the dream I had then.
So I went to bed repeating the same words I normally do, but instead of getting of full dream, I only remember a fragment.

I'm sitting in a chair. I try to move my hands, but they're tied together and pulled back behind the chair. My feet are also tied to the chair that I'm sitting in. I look around myself to see where I am, and it's a prison. I think of it as normal. I look to my left and see this giant guy. He's inhumanly large, and has scars across his face and what's visible of his arms. Both his arms and legs were bound to the chair just like mine.

At this point, either the dream ends or my memory fails me. More than likely the latter.

Date: Night of January 26, 2011

It's around one in the morning, and I was just finishing up my first DJ entry before I decided I ought go to sleep. After logging out of all of my things, I went to my room and once again popped a CD with soft piano melodies. Getting in my bed, I feared that I might have a nightmare due to the fact that I was playing DOOM earlier. But I eventually put that aside and simply repeated the words, "I will wake from my dreams and completely remember them," until I finally fell asleep.

I'm running. From what? I'm not sure, but I keep up the pace. I look to my left, then to my right, before hopping over some stream. I'm in a forest, and I'm brushing aside foliage as I continue running. I don't feel exhausted at all, but I know I've been running for a long time. I come to a clearing, and I walk up some stone steps. Once at the top, I look around myself. Behind me is indeed a forest, or rather a jungle. The one I was just running through. Looking downwards, I see the stones that I walk upon. It's a yellowish gold color, and there's moss in the cracks. Looking ahead I see two staircases. Both of them extremely, unimaginably high. They stretch farther than the eye can see, all the way up through the clouds. I turn to my right and see my brother, Miguel, and a very close family friend, Nathan.

"Miguel, you're not going up there, are you?" I ask him.

"Yea, I am. It's the fastest way."

I then remember that this is a race. That's why I was running through the jungle. Both Miguel and Nathan appear to have been running through the jungle just as hard as I had.

"But don't you see how high it is? What if you fall?"

"We won't, trust me." he replied.

"Look! The higher you get, the smaller the steps are!"

"I said don't worry. We got this."

And with that, they ran up the steps, soon out of my sight. I sigh, and continue on my own path. I re-enter the jungle, and soon I come to some building. After running around it, I find out that the jungle ends here, and a city begins. Though it's not a city like New York. It's more like a town... or a village! It's a villageof some sort that I've come across. I then hear some man talking. He turns out to be a politician. Upon closer inspection, he turns out to be a Chinese man. Obviously from the reaction of the crowd around him, they do not accept his speech at face value. The appear to believe that he is a crooked man, and I also seem to get that feeling from him. I get tired of listening to him, and continue on my way. However I stop running, and simply walk.

I casually glance around, and it is in fact, a small Chinese village. People are grocery shopping, laughing, conversing. I cross a small bridge with water underneath and fish are in the water. Soon some yellow cloud comes out of nowhere and flies right be me. And there's a boy on it! I chase the cloud, running faster than even when I was running through the jungle. It soon comes to a stop in front of a home, a traditional Chinese home. He's talking to a girl and a boy as he sits on his cloud. After close inspection from a distance, I realize that the boy is the Avatar, and his name is Aang. And the girl and boy are Katara and Sokka, respectively. I walk up to them and realize that the cloud Aang is sitting on is Kinto'un. They greet me cheerily and invite me inside.

Soon it's evening time, and everyone is sitting around the fire. Apparently we are joined by some other female named Tsubasa, who is around the same age as the rest of the group, about 14-15. Everyone is laughing and enjoying themselves. Sokka and Aang, who is still seated on Kinto'un, are joking around. I'm laying down, facing them and the fireplace, with my head in Katara's lap, smiling, as she pets my head. Tsubasa is sitting next to us, smiling and sipping her tea, interjecting something in the conversation every now and again, accompanied with giggling.

"Why are you smiling?" Katara asks me.

"Look around, everyone's happy, laughing. Why not smile?"

She giggles and nods her head. "I suppose you are right," she replies with a smile.

She then leans down and kisses the top of my head, and soon after,
      I awaken.

      Lucid Dream

Date: Night of January 25, 2011

So it's about four in the morning. I just got off the computer after extensively researching lucid dreams, and filling my brain with the basics of dreams, such as definitions, stages of sleep, dream recall, and things of this nature. With this on my mind, I turn my Playstation on and put a CD in. As I listen to soft piano melodies, I repeat to myself as I fall asleep, "I will wake from my dreams and completely remember them," as I had read that on the home page of this site. Soon enough, I'm drifting off to sleep.

I'm sitting in a large auditorium, and I'm definitely not alone. Every single seat is filled. As I look around, I come to the realization that this building is one I've been in several times. It's the Civic Center, downtown. I look down to the center stage to see what seems like a play. A father and son talking, which soon turns into an argument. I'm not very interested, and look to my right and I see my girlfriend. (It's a long distance relationship, so I don't see her face-to-face.) I think nothing of it, I mean she's my girlfriend. I then stand up to use the restroom, and walk up the aisle. Once outside the main auditorium, I see two of my cousins. One of which no longer communicates with the family. (Again, another person I don't see face-to-face.) I say hi, and apparently my urge to use the restroom has gone away, as I go back to sit down. As I walk down the aisle to my seat, some woman tries to catch my attention. She urges me to sit down next to her for some reason. I comply, and apparently she just wanted some company. I look down to the center stage again, and see my friend Jonathan down there performing card tricks, as if he were a magician. (Since he doesn't perform card tricks, this is another odd thing.) I watch as he performs some very interesting tricks, such as causing cards to change shape, and things of the like.

Then my surroundings change. Perhaps a different dream that I remember? I'm standing in a pool of water, like a small pond. A middle aged woman that is not familiar to me at all is catching large fish with her bare hands. She's wearing a bandanna on her head and a flannel shirt, with pants that are rolled up to her knee. She's also carrying a large bag that she puts the fish in. Looking downwards at my own feet, notice that my pants are also rolled up and my shoes are gone, and I catch a glimpse of the fish. I see catfish, and some odd red fish, it reminds me of a Pokemon. I offer her some help, but she tells me that she doesn't need it. I turn around to see my grandmother and one of my aunts sitting down on a rock. I sit next to them and watch the other woman as she catches fish. Once finished, I walk with her over some ridge, where once we traverse it, we part ways. Looking around me, I find that I'm behind some building. My pants are no longer rolled up, and my shoes are once again on. I go towards the building and attempt to open the back doors, but they're locked. My grandmother and aunt catch up with me and try to help, but to no avail. Eventually, some people come out. As the doors open, we rush inside. I then see an old classmate crouching next to a baby wrapped in a towel. She says that it was just laying there. I look at the baby, and unwrap the towel to see what gender it is. It turns out to be a hermaphrodite. Wrapping the baby back up, I leave the building with it in my arms and get in a car, driving off to find it's mother.
(This is odd because I'm under the legal driving age, and thus cannot drive.)

As I drive, I cross a bridge. It's a very long bridge, and takes some time to drive over. Once across the bridge, I get out of the car and go behind some bushes, because apparently I'm in some place I shouldn't be. I have a feeling that the baby's mother is from here. After searching the place extensively, I can't find the baby's mother, so I take it as my own. Setting the baby down in the car for a moment, I turn to look around me again, and when I look back, the baby has become a toddler. I think nothing of it, since I fed it moments ago. I get back in the car, and after strapping the both of us in, drive back across the bridge.

My dream then ends and I wake up.
