      Weird pregnancy test dream

      Hey guys!

      A bit of background info...

My fiance and I have been trying for a baby for the past 10 months. I have wanted a baby for years!

I had a dream (I think before I even ovulated) that I was standing on top of something somewhere (not sure where) and I had a vertical cut on my right hand index finger. This meant that I was pregnant, even though there was only 1 cut.

I was so happy and excited, but then I all I remember was being at the bottom level of the thing I was standing on, feeling cramps and remembering that I was still a fair few days away from my period being due. Then I was upset.

I can't remember what happened after that.

My period is due in 6 days and I have cramps in that area (which I usually get before then anyway).

I know it probably doesn't mean anything, but I've had pregnancy test dreams before, and they were with actual pregnancy tests...not a cut on my finger?

      Thanks!

I'm guessing your subconscious is acknowledging that you're trying to have a baby, although I'm unsure as to whether you really have conceived or not. Sometimes things present themselves in strange ways, like a cut on your finger.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      Thanks for the reply!

Well the weird thing was that I had another pregnancy dream last month. This dream was with an actual pregnancy test though. One test was really faint, and the other was faint but had a smudge on it, but they still read 'positive'.

I tested early last cycle, and sure enough there was a faint line. The next day I tested again and the line was a little darker. I went to write on the stick what day it was, but the ink smudged the test. The tests I did after that only got fainter and fainter and then I got my period.

I hope the dream I had this month is a positive thing!

ETA - I just found on a website that a cut finger means some unusually hard work ahead

      Another website says:
A cut, broken, or bandaged finger is a dream of contrary, indicating significant successes after a great deal of effort.

Hopefully it means that I am pregnant and that my work will be cut out for me with a new baby!
