Thread: Heaven/Hell Dream. Thoughts?

Note: This wasn't a scary dream, just wanted to know what you guys thought about it. I am no longer a Christian, though I still believe in a god.

I was walking down a long white gravel road that forked. One path led to heaven, the other to hell. Other people were also walking down the road. So which way was to heaven? I began to walk down the left path. I saw that the right path had pretty pink flowers growing out of the ground; it was like a walk through a beautiful garden over there. On my path, however, flowers were rare. I felt that people would be drawn to the flowery right path, although it seemed superficial to me. I remembered in "Indiana Jones and the Holy Grail" (lol), the Holy Grail was actually just a modest little cup. I thought that I was on the right path.

Then I saw some old classmates ahead of me on the left path. When they got to the end, they suddenly looked dismal and began to suffer. Some were choking and some fell to their knees in pain. Had they stepped into hell? I decided that I couldn't base this choice off of something I had seen in a movie. If I stepped into hell, I would stay there for eternity. I was especially worried, because the classmates I had seen go to hell weren't even bad people. But I suddenly had an amazing realization. It didn't matter which road I walked down. I had been a good person in life. Both of these roads led to heaven...for me. For others, like my classmates, both roads may have led to hell. I almost chuckled, thinking, of course, the people in charge around here wouldn't make going to heaven or hell a 50/50 chance with that fork in the road. Good people go to heaven, and I was a good person. Relieved, I walked to the end of the left path and woke up.
