Doesn't that line just sends chills up you? So badass, I am so psyched about this movie, already got tickets.

EDIT: Oh and something just came to mind regarding Black Widow. Did she somehow get a dose of super soldier serum?

Well, in various incarnations, Black Widow is also a super-soldier, so I wouldn't be surprised if she managed to nab the serum.

It looks like the Avengers will be the longer than any other Marvel Studio movie. The length has been confirmed at 135 minutes. No traditional medium popcorn for me on opening night, this calls for the big one

I've heard 142 mins.

The buzz around this movie is absolutely incredible. 24 fresh reviews out of 25, over at rotten tomatoes (even the single, 'rotten' review is a 3.5 / 5.0 from someone with...uhm..questionable tastes), and all kinds of praise from pretty much everyone who has seen it. I honestly haven't been this excited about a movie in a long time. Can Not Wait.

Man I couldn't agree with you more O. I am literally counting the days. The more feed I see with regards to the movie and how successful the premier was the more anxious I get. But wow 142 mins? That's even better! I'm looking forward to seeing Iron Man kick some serious arse! He's my favorite character.

Iron Man 3 is being filmed. Spider-man previews look at little better. I think what they lacked in the previous movies was Tobey played a good nerd as Peter Parker, but he never evolved from that to become the wise cracking Spider-Man. It was like he stayed the same dork throughout the series. This one seems like he may have a little more flavor.

Loved The Avengers, by the way. Thought it was well-worth the hype.

And I agree, Spider-Man is definitely looking pretty damn good. I'm not a huge fan of the Lizard's snout-less look, but I'll try not to be too critical of it, since they had good reason for it. I honestly didn't know that it was the Lizard's first look:



Also, there are already talks about making the new Spidey an Avenger, in future movies.

Yeah I'm not keen on the snoutless look (and the Lizard is pretty much my favourite villain other than Hobgoblin and Venom), I pretty much think the best incarnation of Lizard is the 90s cartoon version. I actually read a lot of the early Steve Ditko illustrated comics when I was a kid, so I can appreciate going to the original look, but I would have favoured something more crocodillian.

Also I've always hated Toby Macguire as Spiderman, I don't find him sympathetic in the least, he can't handle any scene that requires him to communicate anything other than pathetic wetness that seems to be his trademark. I don't think he was even a great Peter Parker. I'm hoping Andrew Garfield will be much better, he was great in Social Network.

@ O I'm 99% sure if marvel had all of their movie making rights, spider-man and wolverine would have been in the orginal avengers movie.

they're not original members of the avengers.
maybe if they made a New Avengers film with Power Man and the like.
I would like a deadpool flick and CapAm/Wolverine WW2 movie.

But it's has been very apparent that they have been using the ultimate universe's character and story development. I would love to see deadpool in anything, but I don't think it's going to happen untill fox is done with the X-men...or at least I hope not. Cap/wolvie movie would be great, but I don't think they would go back in time for it. I'm just hoping they get Micheal Jai White to play Black Panther some day.

They shouldn't go back in time it should be during the Cap film series. I'm glad they were borrowing from Ultimate (my fav continuity). Fox will bleed X-men dry till the films get boring. I would like some Noir universe films though especially Spider-Man. but thats highly unlikely.

Yeah, the only thing we can do is boycott x-men and spider-man untill they decide to give up their rights because it'll take loads of cash to get them back. In the meantime let's hope marvel decides to reincorporate past characters (blade punisher) and keep giving us new people to look for.

Nice about Avengers, know anything about TDKR?

Marvel has a better universe than DC I think. DC has A LOT of campy characters that haven't moved with the times until recently with the new 52. Marvel have characters with limits also, whereas DC has Batman who has everything in his belt (I like him), Superman who can do anything and Green Lantern who can make anything. I like them all but sometimes the stories can become ridiculous (everyone has kryptonite).

I would like to see:
A Dark Avengers film linked in with The Amazing Spider-Man and all the other Marvel Universe films (Iron Man, Thor ,etc). Very unlikely unless Sony,Disney AND Fox can reach an agreement or Disney buys the characters off of them.

2099 Spider-Man would be nice.

But Noir would be something amazing.

Looks like it's going to be a busy decade for superheroes.
