      Hello, I am a weird dreamer

      Hi I'm a 20 year old girl from Finland and I study art. Dreams and weird stuff interest me much. I haven't succeeded in lucid dreaming yet, only sometimes I realize for a second in a dream that it is a dream.

      But I've had other weird things in my dreams.. and I'm looking for the answers for them. For example I have met people in dreams, and after waking up and telling them about it, they look at me astonished - they just had the exact same dream!

      I usually just meet people who I haven't even seen when I've been a wake. And I really wonder who they were.. There is this one person who keeps coming to my dreams once in a while. He is an old man with a beard and old shabby clothes, but he has a friendly smile. I really wonder who he is...

      I believe I've also had an out-of-body -experience while dreaming, but more about that in another thread, because it may be really long one to write here.

      I am an open person to any theories and I also believe in things such as reincarnation. I've had a lot of dreams, which I think are telling things from my past lives.

      I have weird dreams too, well I used to have a lot more then I do now. Medication used to make my brain a little tripped out lol. Your dream experiences seem pretty fascinating. Hopefully you find those answers you've been searching for

      I had a shared dream once too. Me and my friend Damon had the same dream at the same time, about a cat running around with my breasts. I was telepathically communicating with him before I fell asleep and then we discussed the dream in the morning. Maybe the old man in your dream is a metaphor for wisdom.

      One of my shared dreams was quite funny - I was visiting my dad and had a dream that I was an alien landing on his yard and greeted him. When I told him in the morning, he told that he had a dream where aliens came to greet him. xD
