Second day of getting back into LDing and I need a little help/advice.

I've been getting back into lucid dreaming two days ago and tried to give WILD another shot. The reason for this is because I think that it's my strongest technique. The first time I tried wild I got to HI and only a couple days later I had my first sucessfull WILD and some other ones. However I'm still inexperienced with LDing (12 LDs so far). Anyways last night I attempted WILD again after 6 hours of sleep and a 15 minuite WBTB.This time I use a more passive anchor, where I would just focus on the felling of my head on the pillow. I noticed that I would almost drift of to sleep more often. My WILDs usually play out like this with me drifting off slightly untill I get to hallucinations. So finally after a close encounter of falling to sleep I felt a wave of warmth and numbness just shoot through my body. At that moment I started to hear loud voices. I instantly knew it was auditory hallucinations. At first the voices were very loud and saying sinister things. I thought of more pleasant things and the voices became less scary. I hadn't oppened my eyes this entire time in fear of seeing something I don't want to see or messing up the WILD. Eventually the voices stopped and I was in a dream. However I didn't become lucid. The voices carried on into the dream, but instead now the voices aquired figures. Instead of doing a RC and realizing I was in a dream, I ran away through a castle. Then I woke up. So the help that I'm asking for is how can I start a LD when im at the hallucination stage without waiting for it, and how can I insure that I will do a RC when I enter a WILD dream.

When you can't see anything, try imagining a dream scene. If you're in a dream, a dream scene should fade into view if you do this. Once you see a dream scene, you can enter the dream.

Generally, for WILD, you don't have to do an RC because generally you already know you're dreaming. But, planning ahead what you're going to do in your next WILD/LD will help you maintain your lucidity.
