Death Poetry

Sweet times, urging death, I taunt her
Saying "With your direst breath
will you please haunt me", and yet she apprehends me and
she smiles at my laughs. Hard not to Love her...
Sweet Death, Who would have thought?

Oh No I told you before, death, I love you, tooo, tooo sweet,
when, oh when shall we meet...?
In the meantime = I Love life, but you are always my betrothed...

One Autumn day, I was absorbed in a leaf
the color of a heart
Almost red, and ready to fall down

Spending time and asking it's existence
I realized it as mother and daughter
of the tree combined

Such sweet subsistence!!
Sweet snowfalls followed
My heart entwined

Too purely real to be real
but it was
Sweet subsistence true

And they just asked
if she was real

And I just asked
And you?

compassion
suffer
them
offer

accept
gift
returned
unwrapped

angel
cried
try
more

Fantasies over-ride and dreams enchant with lovely themes
beyond any thoughts that could be thought
the world bespeaks of right and wrong
and it seems to be that, "naw" it can't be that

So where does it all lead? Carried on by non-thoughts
with non-understandings, Moving along
carried along by the winds of the Universes' songs
Wandering on by letting loose of poor ego's wants

Maybe then there are new thoughts to be thought?

Torrents of flooding emotions
You seek to overwhelm me?
But don't you see I welcome
you from the very depths of my heart?

Currents of those bloody notions
You trees of the forest,
You seek to overcome the Sun?
But don't you see that this cannot be done?

So many ones, gone on, dying over and over
In the world not knowing but a body, a personality
they cling to words, ideas both sweet and sour
I cried for them at first, but my tears were worthless
grains of salt and nothing more
Experiencing not the beauties
Emptiness of love they are
Offered life, they choose the sorrows...

Please take my smile and share
There is more than enough for everyone

I've heard your words too many times
I let them sink not into my mind
That is why today
there is freedom's semblance

Not so erudite as may be liked
but me no buy all the tricks
you want to instill
upon this mind

Me like Freedom so much more
So very Very Rudimentary

The white webs and tracelets of the transient clouds, the portion of the moon I see tonight-
It is pretty quiet out here in the country
The clattering of the many minds makes such a loud and clanging sound
I used to hate that sound, but now I smile

but nobody cares
not even the blackness
or my goldfish
Cold
so cold
like the wind
when it's cold
Deep

sadness, blackness

Frantic thoughts of afterlife's gloom
Shadows creep from the corner of the room
Thanatos, the sunset on the horizon, looms
As a thief in the darkest night, death will come soon.

Within the leaves of the weeping Willow tree, I saw her hair a-flowing
She was young and She was old, but her heart was all I could see
and it was GLOWING

I wondered "How can a being like this be?"
Her eyes were sometimes Bright and knowing
and sometimes were as dark as the darkest seas

and she said "Let's dive beneath the ocean's floor!"
I couldn't help but Love her no matter what she meant
and so I followed her through her hidden door

and when I did, her Heart gained laughter and her
voice was like the wind and then she sternly voiced to me
that this journey could never end

I hate it.
Dragging yourself through days
Amusing myself in so many ways
To make the time I have go faster
Wonder what will come after
That makes us so eager to spend our time
Ways to make it fly by
So that death can arrive a little bit sooner.
Life.
