Okay, so I've been watching inspirational movies like Courageous, The Breakfast Club, Dead Poets Society, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and more. All of these movies leave me with the same feeling of being indestructible. And I feel that I could contribute to that! I've got a movie idea that started with a dream but then became more!
The movie is about a group of teens that meet up in the woods every night and swap stories about their lives. They call themselves the Urban Society. One day, they learn that the local paper mill decides to tear down the woods to make room for other things. At first, the group seeks help from their church pastor, who tells them to stand on top of their trucks and look down at them as the "Indestructible Intimidation". When the group decides that won't work, they take matters into their own hands and try to sabotage the paper mill's work. When they realize that whatever they do will have no effect whatsoever, they realize that what their pastor was trying to tell them was that even though bad things may happen, they could still rise up and say that they are bigger than the men who come in and try to take control.
The story needs work but it's what ive got so far! What do you think?
