That's one way of looking at it, yes. But you could also see it as the act and process of the obtainment of knowledge and wisdom. So it isn't always just a big question mark, as you put it. There could be actual results in its study.
Would you not agree, wisdom requires one to be open to interactions with all kinds of people, and that gifted philosophers are gifted at friendship?
