Can't remember anything after going Lucid???

Well I started to get back into LDing, and accordingly have been doing RCs throughout my day. In the past week or two I did a RC in at least two dreams and realized I was dreaming. I started rubbing my hands and doing a couple of simple math equations, but cannot remember anything after that point in the first dream, and in the second dream it was basically the same but I said where I wanted to go and could not remember anything after that point. My dream recall has been getting better and better, but it is still nowhere close to where I would like it (I've barely gotten to the point where I remember something each night). My question is whether or not my problem has to do with dream recall or whether it has to do with dream control? Has anyone experienced something like this?

      Thanks for any replies

It sounds like it could be a mix of both dream control and recall. I have remembered dreams when I became lucid, and than instantly forget anything else that happened afterwards. My problem was becoming too excited at the thought of being lucid, or doubting if I was dreaming or awake.

With my recall improved, I can now remember becoming lucid and also when I lost the lucidity, so I would recommend that you keep practicing your recall, and once it's up to a level you're happy with, start practing dream control.

In the past I may have said dream control, but after having a lucid where the only thing I remember from the dream was, "doing a RC again to make sure I was still dreaming", I'd have to go with recall and control as well. This is especially the case when trying something new or different that may have an unexpected loss of lucidity.
