Hey guys thank you for replying, just want to make a few things a bit clearer -

I do reality checks of different sorts throughout the day. Looking twice at my watch, re reading text on signs, I even have an hourly chime on my phone that I use as an RC. When I do an RC it isnt a case of "yup not dreaming"....I check in detail anything that seems out of the ordinary, check my surroundings against my dreamsigns etc...

I have been practicing these techniques for a few years, and the limited sucess I put down to just needing more time and training, I did not think of it as a block untill recently after having several lucid dream nights after drinking, and it is only recently that I have consciously deamed this problem to be a "block".

Thank you for the link, I have already listened to that, along with most of the other audio dreambooks online. I have read most of the material out there at present, including all of steven Laberge's papers/manuals etc. This isnt a case of not knowing what I should be doing or being unaware of the techniques that exist, its a case of having a mental barrier in achieving lucidity.

My dreams themselves I remeber most of the details, yet I never seem to have a watch on (or find it odd that I dont) .... never seem to encounter any signs or posters, my phone never beeps in my dream despite it beeping on my desk while im asleep (should filter through to my dream in someway but never does) .....Its like my brain is hiding all the RC avenues from me while im dreaming, I havent read about anyone else having this kind of problem...
