I am having trouble figuring out what you need help with. What is your 'confusion' that is upsetting you? You can successfully tell dream from reality, is that not the goal that every lucid dreamer tries to reach? |

Whassup DV?! Hey, as you may know, I'm a MILD method user. Recently, it hasn't been working. Guess why: I'm becoming lucid without my dream signs. It's like I can realize I'm dreaming without dreamsigns. I think I can tell dreams and waking life apart now. Most people would be happy, but I'm not. This goes against my MILD. I am kinda happy, but at the same time I'm upset because of all the confusion. Please help me. |

Dream.
Well, I'm not sure what it is, but it's something about not using the MILD successfully. I guess this was so sudden that I'm in a state of shock that confuses me in an upsetting way. |

Oh are you upset because you have practiced the MILD technique and trained for it then you lucid dream without the technique you've worked so hard to conquer is that it? |

If you want to check out my checklist click right HERE
If a man believes his dream is his reality when he wakes up is this now his dream or does he believe he hadn't been dreaming at all?
probably in more than half of my lucids I realized I was dreaming for no particular reason so yeah it's definitely not impossible |

Look, it doesn't matter what method you use, the end goal is the same. You're trying to LD, who cares if you did it via MILD or WILD or simply just "sensing" you're in a dream? Personally I rarely get MILDs/DILDs (maybe once or twice a month) but frequently have WILDs, almost every day when I really get into it. All you should care about is that you've got a way to somewhat reliably have LDs, so enjoy it |
|
You don't need a special dreamsign to MILD |
|
My mantra is "I will notice my dream signs, then do an RC, and become lucid." |

I also usually don't see any dream signs or even do reality checks. If you LD enough you get to learn the feeling of a dream. It's hard to explain, but there is definitely a distinct feeling to a dream. I know the idea of being able to feel a reality is strange, but it's less so if you use drugs or alcohol. You know when you're drunk/high right? Same as dreams if you do it enough. |
