No dreams in almost a week?

I was on a roll for a while, remembering 1-3 dreams a night, and that lasted for about a week and a half. But for almost a week now I haven't been able to remember any dreams at all. It feels like I drift off to sleep around 11 pm and in a flash it's 8 am, and I can't recall anything. Does anyone else experienced setbacks like this?

It happens to everyone I guess. Don't let it bother you. I'm sure there are some bits and pieces you can recall... It's rare for someone to get a lot of sleep and go blank.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

I've remembered vague images from a few nights ago, but vivid dreams are becoming less and less consistent. Also, I am not a very visual person, so visualization of a target dream can be difficult. I think it's because I've been playing musical intruments since I was five and developed perfect pitch. Even a memory of a vivid dream for me can be just a few short clips, and that's after making a heavy effort after waking to remember details and write everything down.

As you are an auditory person (it seems) instead of visualizing images, you could try to visualize sounds (audiolize?) for your target dreams, and focus on writing down the overall sound of the dream, rather than focusing on images... Of course, including all the senses is best but if your forte is in one of them, that one will probably be key in your dreams.
