      Dreams are very logical

Most dreams I remember are like this. I am always able to have an intelligent conversation with every DC I come across. Any text I read is legible, and I rarely see any clocks. These dreams mainly involve my Ex-Girlfriend. I can have a real conversation with her, and everything is logical, nothing seems wrong, even after I wake up. No green elephants, no dream signs. Everything is just like how it is in real life. I had only one occasion where an object I was holding turned into something else when I didn't look at it. I knew it was wrong but I was forced to proceed in the dream. With no obvious dream signs it is pretty difficult to become lucid. What could this be?

Well since you seem to have alot of dreams with your Ex-Girlfriend, you can do a reality check every time you see her in real life, that way, when you dream and you see her, you'll do a reality check and become lucid.

Alright Ill give it a shot. But I still have a question, why are my dreams logical? Why can I have an intelligent conversation with a DC?

I think Puffin mentioned this in a tutorial, along with your RC's look around see the world in detail, question why you are there and try to remember why you got there. Here's the link http://www.dreamviews.com/f12/puffin...-guide-100798/
"For a long time it gave me nightmares, having to witness an injustice like that. It was a constant reminder of how unfair this world can be, I can still hear them taunting him. 'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!'... How come they just couldn't give him some cereal?"

People probably act intelligent in your dreams because your belief is that people are generally intelligent. Just my thought. Do you think that way? Many of my DCs are stupid because I think most people are stupid.
I don't usually think, therefore I mostly am not.

Nope, I think that most people are stupid, but some are intelligent.

That's just how it goes. Some people have absolutely ridiculous dreams, some don't. Just gotta go with the flow and work around it, yo.

Hm. Are your DCs people you expect to act intelligent? People act as you expect they will (kind of) in dreams.

Well, once I had a nice conversation with a security guard at the mall (In dreams). So, sometimes they are people who I expect to be intelligent. But sometimes they are not

I think that would make the most sense, but he's also saying that all his dream contents (not just characters), are still logical. I find this pretty interesting, but I don't know how I would explain it.

Btw, you from San Diego? That's cool

The dream content being logical made no sense to me, so I did not try to explain it. That is why I focused on the topic I was most likely to understand: the intelligent DCs.

hmm... my DCs are normally intelligent too, i have intelligent conversations and everything. I think it's because i know everyone. try this: when you do a reality check, will whatever your looking at, say, your watch(if you have one) to look wierd. i remember in one LD i had i saw something unusual and looked at my watch. it looked normal, but i just knew something wasn't right and willed it to look wierd, and the hands dissapeared and the numbers started floating around. Try to exert minor control like that over your dreams when you RC.

      Hope this helps!

I too have very realistic dreams a lot of the time. Because of this I've learned to rely on other techniques to become lucid. Some people have obvious signs but those who don't have to make their own signs, like getting into a habit of putting your finger through your hand. Your environment doesn't matter if you're in the constant habit of doing this.

My DC's seem to act fairly intelligent when I'm not lucid but whenever I become lucid it's like they're all retarded. I don't know if I'm just too illogical to notice them when I'm not lucid or if they really do change.
