Exclamation What is a very effective WILD technique, I can't successfully DILD! help?

hi, so I have been trying to lucid dream for roughly a month now. i've come to the conclusion that I can't have a DILD. I have tried everything in my power to do it, but I can't. I do different forms of reality checks throughout the day, relatively frequently. I also have said mantras as I drift of and stuff, but to no avail. the only times I ever have lucid dreamed is twice when I was younger, they were random. but I remember them better than any other dream I've ever had. I don't even realize I'm dreaming when I am doing something totally ridiculous. for example about a week ago, I had a dream that will ferrell wouldn't let me see a movie, so we fought and I ended up in the movie. completely ridiculous but it never crossed my mind that I was dreaming. I have tried melatonin, it sorta works but nothing effective. so I want to WILD, but I need a very effective technique please. I've tried it once, and I sorta felt vibrations and the noises from outside my room started to fade but I freaked out and decided to wKd up. bu I forget the technique. please some give me a good technique because there are so many I want one that has worked for you. I also want some tips so I can eventually DILD too. thanks so much in advance!

also once you start wilding, can you do it every single night?

should I not be scared of what comes with the sleep paralysis?

      Wake Initiated Lucid Dreams (WILD)
      pick one!

-no, probably not, unless you become uber skilled, which will most likely take some serious dedication. most people do it in the morning anyhow.
-no, you should not be, but it does feel pretty freaky sometimes.

i would suggest doing some more research, being patient, and getting another month or two of practice under your belt.

I use something similar to Adam's guide:

I like to use tactile sensations, or the imagined feeling of motion to enter the dream.
