Well I've always had a natural sense of knowing whether I'm in a dream or not. Perhaps it's because I haven't had a 100% clarity lucid dream yet. I'll try doing a reality check the next time I enter an LD. Maybe because that I just assume it's a dream, that is the reason why it's so very unstable all the time?

Also this morning I just thought maybe I should focus more on the micro vs the macro. Instead of trying to change the big picture, just try to control small things around me (just for practice). I usually just walk around and immediately try the change the scene to one I desire.

The longest LD I ever had was one where I didn't try to change the scene, I instead just talked to DC's and manipulated objects around me. Like throwing a ball and pushing it into outer space.
