      Perfecting the WILD.

Well not perfecting just trying to get it allllll setup before I go to sleep, so I don't forget everything and ruin it xP. So first question, if I went to sleep at around 12, when would be a good time to set my alarm to get me up so I can attempt my WILD? Next things, when I wake up, how long should I stay awake, should I get up or what? All help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Set it for 5:00. As for staying up that's up to you. Apparently you're supposed to be awake enough that you'll be aware during the process, but not so awake it's too hard to fall back asleep. It's up to you to find out how long staying up gives you this balance.

you may receive more responses if you ask this in the WILD forum.

id start w/ 30 mins and go from there. if you cant go back to sleep, stay up less. if you pass right out, stay up more.

Lol, every question you asked is something that you need to find out for yourself. But yeh, man. WILDs are tough.

I know I have to test the waters myself to see what's right for me, but I like asking more experienced people if I'm even testing the right lake.

No doubt, I understand. I'm just saying that you're going to go in expecting certain things, and you might experience a whole different world, lol. Good luck, man. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try to be ready for whatever. I've just started WILDing so I'm just pretty excited about the whole thing. xP I'll probably start a WILD project if I can get the hang of it some.

I get excited about my attempts too, which prevents me from falling asleep! I got maybe three hours of sleep last night, and in the afternoon I was dead tired and I thought yes perfect time to WILD. However, I ended up laying there trying to sleep for an hour. I was beyond upset. So yeah, stay calm, stay relaxed, and stay aware lol.

I think you need to get the timing right after you wake up for WBTB too. When I first tried it i was staying awake for something like 30 minutes, and I swear, I could NOT get back to sleep after being up for that long. On my last couple of attempts I stayed awake for more like 10 minutes, but i couldn't focus and i fell asleep too easily.

So yeah, find the right balance.
      Give me the night!
Let me be me for one last time!

for me, I can only wild after failed DEILD attempts. After a failed deild keep your eyes closed, and stay in whatever position you already are. After about 5 minutes change position. Never open your eyes. And see what happens, you may be surprised.
