      What am i doing wrong?:(

      WILD-------> i get to the point where im feeling completely numb but cant get past that stage....there is no light shining on my eyelids and i roll out of my non-dream body....any tips would be well appeciated

      Try to focus your attention on any patterns or images you can see in your minds eye, this should allow these to develop into hypnagogic imagery adn eventually flashes of dreamscenes. Once you begin to see this you should be able to move your dream body without affecting your physical body.

      Hey thats a good idea... I think I will try that. I too have not had much success, I try Mantras and stuff, but that idea sounds really good :O

      Describe what you normally do for your WILD. Do you count your breaths? Visualize something? Watch your hypnagogia?

      After I've got relaxed, i lie still on my back and start to count my breaths, saying "1 i'm dreaming", "2 i'm dreaming", "3 i'm dreaming" etc, i keep doing this until the hypnagogic imagery starts to become more concrete images, like little mini movies. About a minute or so after these start my field of vision begins to widen, and I try to reach through into the dreamscene (just one arm at first) This usually takes a couple of attempts, but then once i can move my dream arm into the dreamscene I then step into it with the rest of my dream body.

      It took me a lot practice before i could do this reliably though, my best advice is just stick with it. Try to be aware of your thoughts, and any sensations you feel and notice anything that seems different and you'll get there soon enough.
