Question How can i do a wild????

Hey everyone! I was just looking up different methods on how to attain lucidity. Ive only had 2 lucid dreams so far but ive had many more dreams inbetween those two. The ones inbetween, i couldnt control, and i thought that once i could realize i was dreaming, it would happen for every dream. I guess not, but could someone tell me if this is the case? Anyways, i was wondering the best wasy to induce a WILD. If youve been able to do it, please reply with the instructions on how ur able to do it so i can learn! Thanks

I can only help you get intp sleep paralysis but what I do is wake up after 5 or 6 hours of sleep and stay awake for like 5 minutes. You can stay up longer if you too tired. But I just go back to bed and start falling asleep but I keep my mind awake just enough. I count my breaths as I'm falling asleep. Now the key is to be trying to fall asleep because it won't work and you'll just be laying there awake. But keep you mind awake just enough. So once you do all of that you might feel your body begin to get really heavy. Some people get vibrations in there body but I never do. During this point you might also start see images appear in your vision or you might start hearing people or noises. Don't be freaked out because its all apart of sleep paralysis. Also don't focus to much on these images or noises because then you'll lose it and fall out of sp. Sorry that's as far as I've gotten so I won't try and help anymore haha.

ok I tried and post a reply but it got deleted. But I'll write it again. So when you get into sleep paralysis there a few things you can do. You can wait for the sp to pass and roll, float , sit up you dream body. I dont kow if you should do a reality check before getting up or after. Or you can wait for any images you see during sp to turn into an entire dream scence. just let it happen in front of your eyes as if your watching a movie. do not focus on one image or else you can lose your sp. The last thing you can do is use visualization to enter a dream by actually visualizing where you want to go or the last dream scene you had. At first you will just visualize but during sp it should start turning into a dream right before your eyes. Now I haven't done any of this except visualization after waking from a dream but that was an accident.
You should aslo check out billybobs wild thread and the thread why people fail at wild(or the title might be something different)

Visualization helps when in SP. And when it feels most intense, try to sit up and enter the dream world, hopefully you'll sit up in the dream world.

Haha, I think we all wish it would be that way.
It isn't however, your first lucid is often a breakthrough at obtaining frequent lucidity but there's still quite a way to go.

About WILDing, there are some great guides here on the forum, for instance this one and this one

noo... but i know that it was only because i ahd taken a nap to try it out bc i was too anxious. Didnt work then bc i was too focused, and then at night i just couldnt fall asleep. I was LITERALLY up all night. But I had made sure to tire myself out ( trying extra hard in gym class) and im prettty exausted already, so ill see what happens tonite.

Ah man, I know what you're feeling. It's so frustrating not being able to fall asleep isn't it?
You basically just think too much to be able to fall asleep (at least that's my case). What I do is I basically go to the bathroom, take a sip of water just to stop trying to fall asleep. Works wonders for me.

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck tonight! Sleep deprivation can be a stimulus of lucid dreams occasionally.

I suggest reading this before you go to lucidology.com or attempt anything from that site.

EDIT: Oh and AFYTXR, you are aware that your signature links to this thread?

As it now directs to another site I conclude you were not.

You are aware you could have copied and pasted the link if it didn't work, that's why I post it that way.
