I'm guessing no, since (from what I understand) OBEs and astral projection usually happen in sleep paralysis. The only way to get to sleep paralysis is really relaxing and making your body think you're asleep. |

You may have heard about dream devices that you put on your face that helps induce lucid dreams. Are there any such devices that help induce out-of-body experiences or astral projection? Or could the dream devices be used to achieve the same results? |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I have no expereince in OBE but I think a device for it would have to create a stable focused attention on the body and the destination point if that makes sense... and at the same time prevent falling asleep. I have by accident built a simple light aided algorithm that created autosuggestion to dream and focused the mind to only think that and it worked twice but was very tiring. Devices can never work directly with the mind at least for now, what they can do is create the condition favorable for it to happen. |

The device for inducing OBEs and AP is you. |
