      How do you use the WBTB and MILD technique?

      So yeah, title pretty much says it all. How do you use the WBTB and MILD technique or If you don't use the MILD with WBTB what do you use? Tips or anything would be nice since last night it KINDA worked (I dreamed of having a lucid dream, totally not aware that I was dreaming until the end..) Sorry If this is in the wrong forum!

      PS: I'm talking about what works best for YOU.

      Myself, I set my alarm for 6.5 hours after I fall asleep. Upon awakening, I get up and use the restroom, reaffirm my goals in my head, then lay back down to sleep. The entire process is done in the dark and takes approximately 5 minutes (I have a lot of trouble falling asleep so this is a perfect time for me). I then proceed to fall asleep as I normally would, maintaining my goal of LDing in my head. I've tried this only twice, and currently have a 50% success rate

      Thanks for the reply. Sadly I gotta stay up 20 minutes for me to not fall asleep instantly lol. Seriously, If I stayed up five minutes, I'd be asleep asleep as soon as I found a comfortable postion...

      I go to sleep and I always seem to wake up at about 4AM to half five and so I sit up and then go downstairs into the kitchen and get a glass of water and think about LDing and what I would like to do. I stay up for about 5-10 minutes and then go back to bed
