So dark chocolate is supposed to increase your vividness of your dream and give you a better chance of becoming lucid, so I figured I would give it a try. I picked up a bar of 88% cocoa dark chocolate, and will eat it right before going to bed. I'll be posting the results right here tomorrow. I don't really know why I'm telling people this, because it's really for me, but, oh well |

Current task : Have one lucid dream within next 3 weeks.
Chocolate actually works very well for me. I'm not a big chocolate eater, and I usually have to be in a certain kind of mood...but I do notice that the times when I eat a bit of chocolate before bed I am more likely to have a lucid dream. So that now if I'm having a dry spell and really want to have a lucid dream, I try to eat a bit of chocolate before going to sleep. Along with a banana, which might be the only food I would say for sure always affects my dreams. Actually (I just remembered this lol) last night I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to eat a banana. I ended up having a few lucid dreams after I went back to sleep. If you want to just test out the chocolate to see how it affects you then maybe do a few nights with just chocolate, and then try a few nights with chocolate and banana for comparison purposes. |

Keep in mind that dark chocolate contains caffeine, so I'd probably eat it during WBTB if I were you. |

Whatever one thinks will help him/her LD, can help him/her LD. Its the power of believing you will LD. The easiest way I know of is relaxation/meditation and visualization. I personally think a hunk of cheese helps too... but thats probably because i like cheese. |
