Questions About Your Critical State Testing

I am interested in the following aspects of your critical state testing (i.e. reality checks, state tests, etc.): when you do it, how you do it, and how effective it is. So here is one question for each aspect. I would be delighted to see your answers. Multiple choices are possible. Additional comments are welcome.

      TIME / FREQUENCY
Is your critical state testing …
      1. spontaneous
      2. scheduled
      3. trigger-based
      4. continuous (high awareness all the time)
      5. nonexistent
      6. something else [please elaborate!]

      STYLE / MANNER
Would you describe your critical state testing as …
      1. rigorous
      2. cursory
      3. habitual
      4. deliberate
      5. something else [please elaborate!]

      EFFECTIVENESS
How does your critical state testing help you achieve lucidity?
      1. produces lots of DILDs
      2. produces some DILDs
      3. it doesn't help
      4. something else [please elaborate!]

I think it just helps me realize I'm dreaming more because I'm thinking about it more often. I very rarely RC in my lucid dreams, because I just know that it's a dream. I do the RC's in waking life because it helps me to think about it more, if that makes sense.

      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.
