Reality check vs. Sense check. Which one is better. |

So, I'm a newbie and not exactly that great at lucid dreaming yet, but in my limited experience, if I do "catch an error" in a dream, I pass it off as perfectly logical. They're really ineffective for me. But RC's work well, and I'll admit that my attention span isn't the longest, so they're much easier. |
|
I wouldn't trust a sense check, because in dreams it would seem normal anyway. |
|
Uh, sense check IS a RC. Just that another kind of it <.< |
|
it would make more sense to just do both. whenever you see something unusual you should do a reality check. i thought this was part of the whole MILD or DILD technique |

Goals:
[] Meet my dream guide [X] fly [ ] fly to the moon[X] fly to outer space [] Have an epic battle between me and a DC using magic [] Meet a friend in my dreams (dream share) [] Air bend [] Fire bend

I think the best thing is to just have a greater awareness throughout the day. Just stop a few times during the day and soak in your surrounding and realize everthing that is going on around you and what your doing. Just be more aware of youself in your life. |
|
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

yes. |

I've never heard the term "Sense Check", but that'd be the ticket for me. Obviously you can't base whether or not you're dreaming on how it feels, but lucid living is important for lucid dreaming. |

The Key is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams, because if you can do that, you can do anything.
