So, I haven't purposefully lucid dreamed before, and I got about five seconds into a false awakening and woke up. What is the difference between a false awakening and other dreams? What should I do to stabilize it? |

Well a false awakening is when you were in a dream/LD and then you wake up...or I should say you think you wake up but you are still sleeping. You wake up in another dream. One time I woke up in my room after a dream. Everything seemed normal i.e. my normal dark bedroom, but then 4-5 pictures scrolled across my bedroom like a slide show. It was so real and so incredible, really on another level of real. |

Yep, a false awakening is just what it sounds like. You think you wake up but are actually still dreaming. They can be a good way to induce a LD. |

157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

Oh, really? That's good, because it's not too hard for me to do. I seem to be able to hold on to the edge of control if I visualize a scene while I repeat "I will lucid dream" or something like that. Any other suggestions? WILDs scare me, so I want to keep trying WBTB for now. |
