      WRILD [WRitten Induced Lucid Dream]

This is just a theory, but I think it might actually work. As the name suggest, this type of LD is induced by writing. When MILDing, you use mantra's (sentances which you repeat over and over in your head before falling asleep; take a look at the MILD tutorial for more information). When you write something down a lot of times, it helps you remember things. This is pretty common knowledge, it's used a lot by students. So, this method is simple: you take a mantra which you (could) use for MILD (for example 'I will realize that I'm dreaming'). You write this over and over on a piece of paper. This will probably increase the chance of becoming concious while dreaming. Perhaps it's also a good idea to use this during a WBTB, as this is a physical activity with which you can keep your mind on LD.

What are your thoughts on this theory? Please try it out when you've got the time, so will I. Please post back here whether it worked or not.

Nice idea. I'm sure it'd work to get the brain focused in on the topic of Lucid Dreaming. Only problem with it is Mantras are great as, by repeating them when attempting to fall asleep, it allows your last thought before sleep to be about Lucid Dreaming. Obviously, you cannot write whilst sleeping, so it might not be as effective. It's certainly worth trying though :-)

Yes I was having the same thought as above but it still seems like a good idea.
