If you want noise, turn on a fan or white noise. You could also try Binaural beat if you think that may help and if you can sleep with headphones on |

Personally I find it difficult to fall asleep without having a T.V. on or some music playing. I can see this as a problem for having a LD. So far I have only done DILD with some success, but I was wondering if maybe the noise was acting as a distraction. I figured doing a MILD would help in the odds of having a LD, but again I can't sleep without some noise. |

"Love is blind, and hope is dark"
The noise could work for you as a dream sign, alerting you that you're in a dream. You may want to try out some binaural beats, like DreamerStatus said, or some EILD audio tracks. You can find out more about EILDs from the tutorial section (linked below). |

Cool thanks. I'm gonna try the binaural beats tonight. I found after a little research that 38-90 Hz is supposed to aid in LD, I found one on youtube and I''ll post back on here in the morning how my experience was. (granted one day is not enough case studies) |

I tend to like having a fan on and it has never been a big issue for me. I've had DEILDs and maybe a WILD or 2 well the fan was on. |

I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause
The binaural beat that I used did not have any direct effect on me that I can say for sure. Though when I fell asleep to it I had a cool dream, but had poor recall. |

I always sleep with my computer on and it's kinda loud. In the beginning it helped me to sleep lighter, which is good for lucid dreams as I understand. But now I got used to it and don't even notice noise while sleeping. Now I probably should try to sleep in silence. |
