@Miiister: I don't think it's the sleep. I think I should aim to sleep when I'm drowsy. I've been having to spend a good 10 - 15 minutes letting myself relax before I finally start drifting off. I normally keep the music on until I get to sleep, and I don't have it on reset, so it doesn't keep playing.

Thanks guys. Now I have a couple ideas on how to get my dreams restored again.

It's been driving me crazy not remembering/not dreaming at all.
When you go to sleep, tell yourself over and over again "I will remember my dreams" and visualize what you want to dream about. It's a very concrete way to dream how you want to.
