It makes my dreams a lot more vivid, i just take 1 or 2mg before bed every so often. Just take a low dose and don't take it every night for a lot time or your body will become dependent on it for sleep and you won't be able to on your own. Makes you sleep really good, and wake up, even after 4 hours of sleep, totally refreshed

I read this thread and had a brief conversation with Yoshi about Melatonin. I've been using it since I saw this thread and I have noticed an improvement on vividness and recall with my dreams. It's worth trying for sure.

I've been using melatonin 500 mcg for about a month now almost every night definitely increased vividness of my dreams and really helps me getting to sleep. Also isn't habitual considering i've gone a few nights easily without using it. I would recommend trying it.

i think its hard for melatonin to pass through the blood brain barrier so it should be interesting if you take it with an MAOI

Oh and if it's any help, I got 120 5mg capsules for around 5$ at Wal-Mart.

Yea, 5g would kill you. I must have erased the m when editing that. Oh and the brand is Spring Valley. It's very good brand and I know a lot of people who use their products. Melatonin is worth giving a shot because it seems to have helped a lot of people.
