ohh Geez, i went through that about a week ago, i am now getting it back but slowly, hate it when this happens, to be fair i'm not sure that there is much you can do, it's just one of those things, when i got up in the morning i would just sit with my eyes closed for a minute and try to remember, not try hard, just sit and see what comes to mind. If that doesn't work just keep writing in your DJ that you can't remember and maybe something through the day will make you go "ahhh" and it will come back a little. Don't leave your DJ blank, always write something, to keep you in the habit. Look through your other dreams, does anything in them make your lost dream slowly come back. Can't really offer anything more, but just relax and see what comes, if you try and force it that sometimes causes more of a block, well in my case anyway. Hope this has helped a little, good luck. |

Think back to when you had your last good recall or LD. Has anything changed since then that would be the cause? I know the stress around my house is making it impossible for me to be able to recall dreams. Just try to figure out what's changed and try to change it back. |

Wassup Game, I have had dry spells in the past 2... to break it i have learned three things. one dont think of it as a dry spell, think of it as a period for your mind to digest all the information your inputing about lucid dreaming. When that digestion is finshed (u being relaxed) you will reap the residual benifits of all that lucid food (information) intake lol. Two just have a few days out of the week where u think about lucid dreaming but u take a day off from practicing it. Lastly keep things fresh rotate techniques that work for u. Example mon- weds is wbtb night, thur-sat is fild night, and sunday is Dild night. Hope this helps you out. namaste friend. |

I had a dry spell going and tried a new technique... concentrating on Hypnagogic imagery. It had immediate results. I wrote about it on my sleep and insomnia blog. Its worth a read. |

Generally "dry spells" occur when you have too much on your mind or too emotional. So stop worrying about it and stay positive. Just relax each night before bedtime and use the MILD technique to fall alsleep. |
